My plants are about to sprout. How far should I keep the t50 from them?
Just trying to be of help:I have mine about 7" and it's about 83f, 8 bulb unit , just sprouted
Ok thanks !Just trying to be of help:
They won't like 83 degrees as well as 75 degrees, and they can't even use light until they grow their first true leaves. So you might want to back off the light by moving the fixture higher, or removing some bulbs, or (preferably) both.
are they overwatered or something? i dont grow in cubes but ive never had a seedling come up droopy like that?Look good?
Ya I think 16" is too far away, I keep my 1KS that far away, I probably have my t5 6-10" away atmSad plants
Don't do that, a little stretch is okay,It's still stretching and I have it under 4 inches. I'm about to waste some electricity and use my 600w HPS.
yeah i didnt see the last pic they are actually standing up now lolthey look fine. the closer they are to the light the less stretch you will have. t5's tend to run cool so you can have them about 4'' away with no problems.
Temp is 75-77Don't do that, a little stretch is okay,
When you transplant you can bury the stem as much as you want really with leaving room for it to grow
What's your temperature on top of the little flower
Ya. I moved the light pretty close. They're not stretching anymore and not burning. My t5 produces almost no heat, I have to grab the bulb to feel it.they look fine. the closer they are to the light the less stretch you will have. t5's tend to run cool so you can have them about 4'' away with no problems.
nice, perfect temps, u may even be able to move it even closer later on.Ya. I moved the light pretty close. They're not stretching anymore and not burning. My t5 produces almost no heat, I have to grab the bulb to feel it.
