New seedlings under a 400w MH

I have a problem, I've heard new seedlings need fresh air and they aren't getting any at the moment.

I'm growing indoors, and I was told damping off and mold rot can occur if no new air reaches your plants.

Am I doing everything right? The lights may be too high, or too low. I'm running a 18/6 light schedule.

The temps are 20 c around 40%-50% rH

These are pictures taken from yesterday,

I'll take a few more of where they are at now,

I was told it would be good as long as the lights are atleast 4ft away. I would use CFL's but thats like another £60

Move the light Down slowly inch or two daily

Don't overwater em either that's the #1 plant killer for new growers

Leave it up for a day or two

Then slowly move it down

And listen to superbaked
He's spot on

&
What kind of soil u use??

If the soil has any nutes, wait at least 2 weeks to add any aditanol nutes
And when u do start, start very very light 1/4 the strength recommend on bottle an slowly work ur way up

They don't need that.

They're rooted, why would you foliar feed them?

Don't water them at all until your soil is dry, I mean dry. Get those roots working, don't worry about what's going on above the soil.
I'll stop spraying and just let them do their thing

What about the humidity? I've taken the dome off

Listen to these guys. Leave them alone. They will grow great without constant attention. 400mh is fine and the distance is fine. These are just cotyledon leaves and are often twisted.

A dehumidifier raises rh. Not sure you really need it. 40 to 50 is classed as normal room humidity. If it was way below 40 then I'd say to get concerned. If not then put a plate of water below the plant. Boil a kettle with the steam going into the tent....theres a load of ways you can get moisture increased. Unless your soul is drying out every day then don't bother.

Seedlings don't need the area to be 70%+ Humidity?
