I cut clones right before they go into flower, or when I get a stretched out top that Id like to prune back while still vegging.
monster cropping slows the whole process down. Why not take clones from the tops where all the energy is going...and in a veg state that way you are not haulting or slowing down the whole process. Its really asking alot of the plant taking cuts from the bottom of the plant Weakest), while in flower and trying to revert it to veg and make roots.

If you want to slow down the growth to get caught up then grow the plant out and put it on the outskirts of your canopy or put them under a 200w. Doing this monster cropping is serious stress to the plant ...would you not agree?

It throw up crazy shoots of new growth. I don't believe there are any spider mites there is no cobwebs anywhere but as for the stress maybe in the beginning but once rooting and reverted back to veg they so great

My veg room is nowhere near the size of flower room when theses clones root I will grow them out and cut more clones and throw them in the flower room and then root new clones and veg them and throw them in the flower room cut clone off flowering plant and do again

the clones look fine. The thing I think he was thinking was spider mite damage is actually tiny water drops on the leaves that look sort of like spider mite damage.
Taking clones that late will take a lot longer to start to reveg, but usually will start to grow after 2-3 weeks. They tend to need pruning as they throw out too many small branches at once in early reveg.
Now if you took the clones after they began to herm, and your clones or the branch they were taken from is showing male flowers, the odds of getting a lady-boy even at the preflower stage is dramatically higher. Is there anything special about the plant? Is it a winner/standout? Do you have access to another winner? I would be tempted to grow less of the clones and replace them with other plants. Then watch like a hawk for herming. Then you only have a portion of your grow to cull, instead of being left with hash material and garbage seeds.

I took clones from lower part of plant no nanner down there only two or three the while crop. But yes they are great pheno and also yes I have other seeds of same strains but I think I would have the same problem with them too they are from the same batch of seed as the ones that mannered thanks for reply and yes u might be right there is no spider mites

They only "nannered" because of improper light scheduling.The intersex trait was forced, didn't come about naturally.
I would expect the clones to be the same way, intersex if stressed in some way...

Thanks that is what I'm hoping for see strain finish with no nanner problem under no stress

I'm not sure about clones, but I'm about to find out if a seed from a mother that popped nanners will also do the same. It's now two days into flowering so I figure in about a month I'll know for sure.

you dont know what youre talking about.they should root just as quick as clones from a vegging plant.plenty of growers take clones from flowering plants,and even revegg after harvest.treat them like clones from a veg plant.you shouldnt need to give them extra n if youre putting them into fresh soil.

Her mother was a random bagseed I planted to get better at lst, supercropping, and topping. Her origin is unknown. The buzz was decent, definite head high, very little couch lock. She grew like a sativa, tall with airy buds. Around week 5/6 is when I noticed a couple nanners which means she could have produced them around week 4. While pulling off dead leaves, a seed fell into the soil. I planted it to see if it would pop. It did and started the first week to ten days under 12/12 lighting. I moved it to veg on a 18/6 cycle and it continued to grow nicely, even being in the same pot as its mother. I put it on a 11/13 cycle early, it's about 6" tall, because I don't want to pollinate another crop and I'm not impressed with the product from her mom although the yield was nice, 71.4g. I'll keep you posted for sure.

Even though the trait is forced, IMHO and rookie experience, once you've stressed that plant IT HAS CHANGED GENETICALLY. Stress affects DNA replication. It actually alters sequence. Google it.
The clones were taken after the stressor. They should be exact or near exact (mutations are more common than you might think) replicas of the mother plant at the time of cloning.
My beliefs are that these clones are thus likely to Hermie at the slightest of stresses now, or is already a time bomb. I wouldn't grow more than I felt like checking every day or two.

I know exactly what IM talking about...the success rate is low trying to clone flowering cuts. it slows down the process and stunts the shit out of your plants...why not just make your life easier and take cuts in veg. Im not saying it wont work, its just not good for the plant...your yield will suffer in the long run. and that sir is a fact
