He responded 8 days after the doctors said it wasn't safe.

Try rereading my post.

First the EM said it was safe. Governor listened to the employee.

Then doctors showed it wasn't safe. So he investigated.

try snyder knew flint's water was fucked up when general motors applied to the deq to drill their own fucking well in i believe it was '14 because the flint river water was causing engine parts to rust. snyder gave gm $440k to help out.

the deq is next to worthless but snyder's chief of staff, in an email, complained about flint getting "blown off by us"

you really think snyder didn't know there were problems? if you do, you're a fucking idiot

Watch @bravedave swoop in to protect Pie. I think he has a crush.
Protect Pie from what? He has the unique quality though of looking at the available facts and coming to a logical conclusion. He nor I have written off the possibility of more facts coming to light that might show otherwise. A governor has much on their plate. They have to rely in their delegates to provide them correct information as well as to make good decisions. I am just not going to damn the man for his trust that things were progressing positively because that is what he was told.

Funny you should try to turn Flaming Pie's support of the same conclusion I came to as something degrading when you and a half dozen others here form quite the circle.

No doubt that Flint's water problem was on Snyder's radar but there were other people dealing with it directly who reported the plans and progress. Nothing any of you have produced demonstrates that anything was being covered up by Snyder. Keep up the good work though.
not doing anything about it is reason for Snyder to be out of a job. He knew in 2014 that there was a water problem. I hire someone to work in my laundromat. One of there responsibilities are to insure the lint traps and air ducts are cleaned twice a week. The person negalted his/her duties, with the results being a fire killing 2. Guess who is responsible. ME the guy who did the hiring

This ^^^^ little barely known incident is going to snowball into something the Governor cannot control. I been checking this out myself for a bit. This could turn out to be a smoking gun more than e mails....(ones hes not and is not required to release....the earlier ones).

Dude you can say he knew Flint had a water problem in 2014 a hundred times and it will never prove he thought anything other than that it WAS being handled competently.

The laundry story is sad and too bad, but to be relevant one would have to believe that managing a coin laundry is on scale with governing a state. Even you are not that deluded.

They cancelled thier agreement with Flint soon after the Flint River switch. It was corroding all kinds of car parts and paint systems too i believe. Snyder met with them very early on before anything except water boil advisories.

What if it comes to light that General Motors people had the water checked out and the Governor knew back in 2014 what was actually in it?

So Dave what your saying is if an owner of a crowded movie theater smells smoke he just keeps counting his money up front knowing full well the ushers can and will take care of it?

That about sums it up. The proprietor ignoring the fire and depending on his lackeys to clean it up and take care of the bodies is pretty close to the mark.

Your metaphor is too complicated for Dave's chemically shrunken brain to grasp. He'll just fart some nasty words out to try to smear it. But he'll never understand.

No. That is silly. I'm saying that an owner of 3500 theaters got updates periodically from each of their managers telling him of problems and solutions they were experiencing. No cries for help but painting of solutions.

That's not what he said Dave. Have another drink.

No, just more to scale.
Dude, nothing you say is tied to reality. A few dates in a timeline from a few months ago and that's all you can handle. For some reason you have anointed yourself the defender of a complete fuck up for a Gov. And you don't know shit. But facts are not your strong suit.

Have another drink Dave and start insulting everybody again. At least you made me laugh then.

Then I would say shame on snyder.

So far as we know now, Snyder believed all safety steps were being taken with the drinking water. He was receiving emails from his EM stating just that.
