Help me build my next setup

Stuck between buying a 5x5 tent and having that be for flowering, with 1 600w HPS while i run a 400w in a separate room for veg.
OR
combine both my 600w and 400 w into an open white painted room for more plants
and get a cheap LED for a veg closet.

I'd go with the second option. Why grow in a tent, or pay the money to buy a tent, if you already have a room and closet for flower/veg? I'd save the money and just set up the dedicated room/closet and skip the tent.

Thanks for your response was thinking the same this morning i can push more out the big room. and not have to worry about space for the aero system i want to build.

i like your second idea too.
Although, if you've a room too play with I'd put the 600 along with 400 x2 into that room for flower. Get as much light as you can.
Cheap LED's, yeah ok. i had a set I got off eBay, 300w x3. Grew with them in NY, best set o LED's I ever had.
Although I think I read before, that mixing HPS lights with LED lighting during flowering mimics the taste of bud grown outside under sunlight.
I'm going to try it out, but maybe two grows away yet.

Anyone know how many Vero 29 a lpc 150-2450 will fire?
Why you jacking this mans thread? Come on dude, go over to the LED section if you have questions about LED lights.

Yea there's a lot of people that mix HID and LED. Never heard anything pertaining to it being the best at mimicking sunlight but I wouldn't discount it. When you mix light spectrum your always getting a LITTLE closer to mimicking the sun.

Exactly. Growing in a room is so much easier, I definitely wouldn't buy a tent if I didn't have to. I had to go from growing in a room to growing in a tent, and granted it's not the end of the world but I enjoyed the options and freedom a room gives you as opposed to a tent.

Yeah ill probably use the smaller room that i was going to have a tent in and use it for veg and clones, Would a couple 125w replacement CFLs(4-6) be enough?

Not to much power going thru a 3 bedroom house?
Not in terms of kwh/day if that is what u mean...you b good. Put 400 on at one time (16/8 or 12-1), then (2) 600 on (12/12 or 11.5/12.5)...there should be a little overlap where they all on for short period but for most part...staggered.

I'd also run a quick calculation on roughly how many amps you are going to be pulling if you do decide to throw in another 600w. I think it's a good idea for sure, just don't want too many amps pulling on your breaker. Like Realz said though, you can stagger them so they aren't on at the same time but it's still a good idea to know how many amps you're going to be pulling and what not
