Yea there's a lot of people that mix HID and LED. Never heard anything pertaining to it being the best at mimicking sunlight but I wouldn't discount it. When you mix light spectrum your always getting a LITTLE closer to mimicking the sun.
Exactly. Growing in a room is so much easier, I definitely wouldn't buy a tent if I didn't have to. I had to go from growing in a room to growing in a tent, and granted it's not the end of the world but I enjoyed the options and freedom a room gives you as opposed to a tent.
Yeah ill probably use the smaller room that i was going to have a tent in and use it for veg and clones, Would a couple 125w replacement CFLs(4-6) be enough?

Not in terms of kwh/day if that is what u mean...you b good. Put 400 on at one time (16/8 or 12-1), then (2) 600 on (12/12 or 11.5/12.5)...there should be a little overlap where they all on for short period but for most part...staggered.
