What are you calling bullshit on? Do you think that number is too low or too high? You can go "pheno hunting" with hundreds of plants or two packs.

With 70 plants you are not legal anywhere and you are not fooling anybody.
You are in business.
There is something very wrong with the rest of your story too.
If the cops didnt do anything and just left they will not come back. But they will tip of the local gangsters theyre taking bribes from and thugs will come around to take your shit.
If any of this is true you better pack your shit and go cause your grow gear is worth cash too.

Pheno hunts start with seeds...to get 70 females grown up well enough to search for the one you want you would need to start close to 100...
What the fuck is he looking for? The holy grail?

I started with around 120. I killed all the males, then all the hermies, then today I'll kill all the low yielders and strange smelling strains, then strains that tend to get bud rot.
Now I'll be down to around 20-30.
I'm trying to find a nice variety of smell, taste, potency, smoothness, color and resistance to problems.
I REALLY HOPE COPS DON'T COME BACK OR CALL THE LOCAL GANG =(
Why would the cops leave THEN comeback? How soon should I expect them to return??

The FIRST mistake was him parking in someone else's spot while having a grow going on...I don't care if it's a legal grow or not. You never draw attention to yourself in any way.
Secondly....70 plants in an apartment? I mean....WHAT?!?!?! You might as well put a red, flashing, neon sign outside your door (which you don't even bother to keep closed?..."I must have left my door unlocked, I didn't want to open the door or let him in but it looked as if he had already opened the door and saw part of my drying tent. So he asked about it right away.")
Dude....That's the kind of thing that gives real, legit growers a bad name...because the cops and neighbors see you doing stupid shit and then they lump everyone else into the same pile along with you.
Just don't grow cannabis.....until it's completely legal. K?

Yeah I am looking for a few gems.
The type of strains/clones you simply can't buy off a shelf at a dispensary.
I already completed the pheno hunt, I had the space, grew the plants, found the phenos, now smoking the final product.
I was harvesting when this happened. I'm about half way done with the room.
Round 2 will be bigger and better. I'm going to speak to a lawyer and a DR. before starting it up.
Too legit to quit.

Don't move to my state!Terrible advice you obviously know nothing about the law a cop can't force you to open your door without a warrant I've done so plenty of times and never been arrested they just leave one even threatened to get a warrant I called his bluff he pretended to try dicked around and left 30 minutes later and never came back.
What was he there for? If you got a complaint called on you here - You BETTER open the fucking door and talk to them! They hand out Ob/res like candy here! Dude, people here STILL get thrown in the county for non payment of fines/costs. THAT was found as being against the constitution! IN the Supreme Court! IN our state AND the federal level - that's considered being like debters prison!

No I came back from a store and was bringing in food. Once I put all the food away I forgot about the car and fell asleep on my couch. Facepalm*
