We will be waiting here with fistfuls of hundred dollar bills ready to throw at you!
They have Mechatronix modules too....very niceWe will be waiting here with fistfuls of hundred dollar bills ready to throw at you!
What does 'good to 80 watt' mean? It won't fry the LEDs? Or will they be cool?Yes these are good to 80 watt, passive, so no fans, which I am a big fan of, scuse the pun
Cheers

would these already come with holes for 3590 holder and reflector holder?negotiating prices now, one off is bit ugly, but if I can get 200 pcs sorted, would be approx USD32.00
Cheers

1kghi mark, what is the weight of the sink pleas?(sink only)
It means they have a thermal Capacity to dissipate 80 watts, so a 3590 at 50%+ eff would be less than 40 watts, so the cooler has twice the capacity than requiredWhat does 'good to 80 watt' mean? It won't fry the LEDs? Or will they be cool?
we can have them delivered predrilled for the ideal holderwould these already come with holes for 3590 holder and reflector holder?
Thermal Resistance of the cooler is 0.5942 DegC/W, surface area is 528047mm2These look good, and am also interested in Tj numbers at different current levels
anodized heatsinks perform significantly better than their non-anodized counterparts.I would be willing to buy these if you can source them. Pre-drilled would be nice but I could do it myself if necessary. Anodized would also be nice, but also not absolutely necessary
True, but enough is enough. Those sinks can handle up to 14 watts of heat and keep temps in the low 40s at room temp. I would be needing them to dissipate less than 10 watts of heat. Anodizing would be icing on the cake.anodized heatsinks perform significantly better than their non-anodized counterparts.

Mmmmmaybe but really that whole system is about the mounts and if you really think about it you could knock out a few of those at Home Depot but if you got the scratch and no time, why not buy the Glacials. I like them for a big room, stadium lighting especially.^^^You have a good memory froggy!........................................like a cranky elephant
And that also allows a builder to use graphite based TIM which means you don't have to worry about any mess, (no icing! ), or reapplying your paste though I'm assuming no one's lost a COB due to old thermal paste drying up so for the DIY crew I guess it's not that much of a plus.anodized heatsinks perform significantly better than their non-anodized counterparts.
