What does 'good to 80 watt' mean? It won't fry the LEDs? Or will they be cool?
would these already come with holes for 3590 holder and reflector holder?

Didn't we see these in September? Or Feb 2015? Glacial Light make a shit ton of cool stuff but it seems so hard to find. Maybe GG should become a distributor for them

It means they have a thermal Capacity to dissipate 80 watts, so a 3590 at 50%+ eff would be less than 40 watts, so the cooler has twice the capacity than required

anodized heatsinks perform significantly better than their non-anodized counterparts.

True, but enough is enough. Those sinks can handle up to 14 watts of heat and keep temps in the low 40s at room temp. I would be needing them to dissipate less than 10 watts of heat. Anodizing would be icing on the cake.

Mmmmmaybe but really that whole system is about the mounts and if you really think about it you could knock out a few of those at Home Depot but if you got the scratch and no time, why not buy the Glacials. I like them for a big room, stadium lighting especially.
And that also allows a builder to use graphite based TIM which means you don't have to worry about any mess, (no icing!
