Going to be traveling from Central Cali to Des Moines for a week on business. Any 'must knows' about the place? Any night life? Any good eats?

Not planning on taking any herb with me. Figure a t-break is probably about due anyway.

Any warnings about Des Moines? Are cops bigger dicks there?
