1,400 scumbag union workers get the boot up the ass. Got served their walking papers. Hit the bricks. Sacked. Out on your ears.

♪ ♫ ♬ Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye. ♪ ♫ ♬

“The bad thing about it is, in manufacturing, there’s just not a lot of jobs nowadays,” Jones said. “They could find a job, but it might be working at McDonald’s and the Burger King in order to make half as much as they’re currently making.”

Umm, maybe they should have taken that into consideration before they started demanding $60+/hr plus ridiculous bennies for a job that should be paid $20/hr with modest bennies.

Sounds like a NAFTA problem to me. I can't say I'm as excited as you are to see 1400 more good jobs leave America to go to Mexico. I do generally agree with you that Unions were too slow to respond to the realities of a global economy and have in recent years done more harm than good. That was very much a fight for a century ago, most of the necessary reforms Unions achieved have now been coded into Law and regulations. But who is going to walk away from all the money they cipher off of their members pay checks? And they had to keep adding things to their agenda to justify that expense. It really is a shame.

Totally agree. I have no use for that pseudo arm of the communist party. Starting with the recent HUGE loss in oil field jobs which includes hundreds of oil related service businesses, I think we're headed for a recession. GDP growth has dropped as have exports.

The US economy expanded an annualized 0.7 percent on quarter in the last three months of 2015, lower than a 2 percent expansion in the previous period, according to the advanced estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Figures came slightly below market expectations of 0.8 percent, as consumer spending eased, nonresidential investment shrank for the first time in nearly three years and a strong dollar and weak global demand brought exports down.

As a majority of those 1,400 are card-carrying dems, I'm sure they're happy to provide their underprivileged compatriots south of the border with their jobs. Why trouble them with coming here, when we can just bring the jobs to them? All I know is my last three HVAC systems were from Carrier and now that they have made the sensible move to circumvent the union scumbags, I'm a customer for life. Vive la capitalism!

I don't think you dislike any unions more than I do, however I can separate my disdain for the union from the members of said union.

I'm sure there are many people out of that lot who are despicable. I saw the video where it was announced. You could hear one person say they were going to start "fucking stuff up" which I took to mean severely reducing the quality of their work. While the company rep was telling them that there would me at least a year until any jobs were lost.

I have sympathy for their kids, their spouses and them to some extent.

Unions are the reason most new car factories are now built in the south. Although the VW plant in Chattanooga, TN has recently voted to become unionized.

The greatest union of all was the soviet union and I am sure we all know just how great the working conditions were in that union. Yes Uncle Ben It was a communist union.

It's my understanding that years ago there was one Communist party under Marx type rule. That party broke into two. One became the party of armed force, guns on their hips - Russia, China, Cuba, Laos, North Korea, and N. Vietnam. The other fanction became the communist party using policy as their motivating force and credo - democrats, labor unions and such.

Isn't it funny how they cheer on Trump because he wants to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US, yet laud this company for sending 1,400+ jobs to Mexico?

This is one of the most wildly inaccurate and stupid statements I've ever read -- oh wait it's coming from red w. blue, makes sense why it doesn't. Really, the Nazis were a union? Really? Go read up on history and learn how a political party and a trade/labor union are two different things. Then again, reading might be hard for you.

Yeah, the Nazi party came from the Democratic Socialist Party, you know, Bernie's party.

So, you were unaware of how the Nazi party came into being?
No, but you completely are and it's painfully obvious. The Nazi Party stemmed from the German Workers' Party. From the outset the DAP opposed the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Huge fail, Red, sit back down.

Democratic socialists have no resemblance to the Democratic party. It's just words. That's like saying the ancient Greeks are like Ted Cruz because they're both Republicans.
