Dude you need to do some more basic research...seriously.Cheap burple lights like this are the worst of the worst in the horticultural led market right now...there are some decent burples. They use Osrams, cree or nichia diodes...decent diodes.Seriously dude..
go to the makers page and look at their info compared to what ever u want
unless u can show hard proof (web page video with par ratings ) your talking shit out your ass

u have not provided any facts or info at all just what u think ........opinions are like assholes everyone has one ....it is info and facts that matter and i see nothing coming from u

the maker i linked him has a open return
he can use it for 6 weeks in veggie and 2 weeks in flower if he likes the results he keeps the lights ........if he does not no harm no foul as he gets the money back to spend on other product

name me a other maker that offers that ......do not think u can because i never found one .......all sales are final is what the bulk of the makers say

look at their run time 50k hours is the maximum for most all the lights they are listing 50k hours minimal 100k hours maximum ........if the light runs passed the 50k hour mark he is in all sheer profit marge

Im not gonna waste alot of time proving to you chinese epistars are crap but heres a par chart from tastyled.

Maybe you can go get your head out of your ass, these are some of the most efficient lights around, look at the par/watt figures....man.PPFD-chart.jpg

Any of these lights will shit all over platinumLED.

your looking at my asshole u prev

what is a prev? you continue to show your stupidity, continue please. and it's you're

maybe if the cord choked me out longer it would be lower or i be dead but it did not it so u got me the way i am

Dude ...I...just....ugh.

what did i say wrong u posted a bunch of numbers with no context to it nothing to see who made it nothing to see when it was made ........i can make a list of numbers too
alls i was asking was to link where u got it from so ppl can see what it is not just some numbers on a screen here

if u do not understand then u should not be here back in school for u .........take a logic class

tasty does not have a maximum footprint reading for the watt
does not have a core foot print reading
does not have a amp drawl
does not have a distance and par rating (8 inches over the top gives what par compared to 18 inches)
does not have a lens details

the 150w i linked him out does those lights compared to price points (their 300 buck unit and others 300 buck unit) ......for him to get the same power he would need to pay more for a tastyLED then one i linked

He would need to pay more, but NOT the same power more like 2x+ the PAR output [ppf]

Using watts without a defined umol/j is useles to compare two different light sources....to say one is comparable by wattage alone is WRONG!

i am comparing off light test done Utube (3rd party and makers) .......as for tasty nothing is on there at all (not one grow not one showing off/testing the light)
if tasty was good it would atleast have a small fallowing of ppl singing prases on the web 1 video 1 reveiw by a 3rd party

still does not answer the missing info

yah no tasty lights that are the same power all of them use more acutal power then this one

320 par at 24 inches .......what i sad was right
and i know it has 90 degree lens so that is a good 32 inches of depth into the plant of useable light

oh my god
u get proven wrong and still go at it

we have had this talk about COBs all strains do not respond the same (if they did all weed would taste /grow the same) but it does not
cobs will work for the most part but some strains respond better to red/blue sectioned off light due to the fact the genetics were tweaked that way

that is 6th grade science ....genetics learning about dominant and recessive traits
attached earlobes......unattached earlobes

edit it might be 7th or 8th grade for u i was honors science honors everything but english

Its simple...the led diodes being used by Platinum, watt for watt are about 20% efficienct and the Cob's that Tasty uses [Cree CXB 3070, 3590 and Vero 29's] are hovering around 50% efficient.....

So for example a 500w platinum light is roughly.equal to a 225 watt 50% efficient cob from what is listed....

You talk about learning 7th and 8th grade science and produce unintelligible sentences that are tough to follow honestly...

There are literally hundreds of grows using the Exact same diodes that Tasty is using and they utilized a Great Light Engine....How Come Nobody makes DIY units from Platinum 3w's? :)

and a single LUX reading straight down from the Canopy is not a PPDF reading....

my issue is they do not give us the standard details ....the other part is look at the stock numbers they do not have product to sell (this is a start up company and looks like failing )...so any warranty on it is in ? will they be around to cover their word

they say the par is this but they do not give u a read out at range ........they do not tell u the lens .....they do not tell u the core footprint

at 6 inches the 150w platinum did 1000+ par are they doing the same at 6 inches at 87watts of power
