but the fact they do not fallow the standard practice and include all the info makes them subject to ? why did they not do it the way everyone else does so we can quick compare items(if light was better or equal u would want it in the format ppl understand so your sales increase......if it is off in someway do the way they did to hide the fact )

they list par per watt ......well if all of them did that it would be ok but they do not they do par by height 6 /12/18/24 u know the number of inches above the plant top cola

the lens ok is it 120 or 90 or 60 ......it matters so u know the depth u know the maximum foot print of useable light

FYI, I have also gotten a 1000 + PAR reading from a 50w Cob at 6 inches, this is how you cheat the #'s.....PPFD of space, which Platinum doesn't use or calculate is the best right now of comparing virtually any light source, toe to toe...Find efficiency, calculaete joules/ per umols to get a PPF reading and then divide by a Meter ^2 to get a PPFD reading, that's it... and platinum won't do it, because what they make is 5 year old tech....and they still charge TOP DOLLAR

Tasty uses equipment that can be checked all those fancy #'s mean shit in light of a good PPFD or PPF reading [calculated from efficiency of the diode].

So tasty rather than make False or Misleading statements, uses the best of the best currently for Diodes/ DC Drivers and lets YOU the user, decide how to use the most effictively, rather than be told HOW...I think you have been round here, long enough, Do you need to be told? Read up some more in LED forums, there used to be good threads about the what mattered, but now all the Fanboys have the cocks out over there....but a few months ago we just covered this topic...AGAIN.

do not know the driver they do not list it ...can write and ask but odds are meanwell
to counter it i just have to say 90 day return with a 5 year warrenty (they will be around)


try the light if does not work as well as u want return it in 60/70 days (by then u can judge for self) .........the guy has a 2x8 foot area that is 2 lights to cover it
the 150w one i linked would do it great core foot print is 3 x1.5 maximum print is 4.5x3.5 so with a good flat white paint he can make the whole 2 foot core power par

talk all the shit u guys want u can not beat the fact they offer 90 days to try out .........5 year coverage and they are listing 50k hours minal (not maximum like the other lights) 100k hours maximum double what the others are rated

show me anouther maker that offers anything close to that ........and has been around for atleast 3 years
best bang for the buck and risk free

No shit talking, only the truth, not like I haven't tried R/B....High PPF white is nice accessory in the growth room....Green is a photosynthetic driver and SHOULD NOT be omitted.

Was it phenotypic or genotypic though? Every cannabis plant has the "auto" trait, supposedly in its genome. All this is beside the fact...of course different strains are going to react differently....

I like 4k for a tall sativa and a particular Alien OG cut.....Another Alien, cut #2, loves 3k and hates the 4k.....Oregon Pistol [blue x catpass F2] , seems to like 3500K and leans toward a tall indica, not quite "sativa" or narrow leaf, but a good piney smelling compromise

You should try white light and give it a go.....I also noticed morphological characteristics INSTANTLY going from R/B to White Kelvin and you seem to dismiss those, either thru ignorance or lack of LED experience? I watched stem growth nearly double or more across many cuts going from low "intensity" LED to a higher output WHITE led.

Read your plants, thats the only rule....Be amazed when white light also helps you diagnose your plants health problems....because Plant problems can't be seen with R/B light. That is the 2nd reason it is outdated and nearly un-usable for horticulture, your QA/QC would be a frigging nightmare on a commercial level.

PAR we been talking about it the whole time COBS supply it all at once ........some plants do not respond to that since they are PHOTO REACTIVE they need a shift in the light spectrum to trigger flowering ........using a cob u are only doing the hour shift trying to trigger the reaction with the full spectrum some plants will love this some plants will under yield do to this

i never stop thinking i can not my head will never shut up ........weed only slows down the number of subjects i cover in a given day .....part of the reason i am here other ppls problems focus the work i do sends me down a path i would not though of on my own untill i had that problem

what u are talking about is correct .......with the advent of indoor /outdoor strains targeting for best responses to mate those plants ......over the time those strains got those features it part of the reason taste/smells the way it does

as for the white light that is all on US as humans ....the white light makes it easy to see the true colors reflecting off the leaves (white is the whole spectrum in one) so the true color of the leaf/plant is seen in that light as u all know colors absorb light and reflect the color they are back which we see as what color it is ......black absorbs them all so it is black

giventhe way light tech has been going .......the breeders will end up using those them self over a few years the plants will slow shift towards that way and few more u will be looking at better yields on plants using that system then any other one

Cree CXB 3070.....looks like white light covers a nice portion of the RQE, not a bad tool to reference and jumping off point, no matter the cultivar imho.....

the breeders are speeding up the plants evolution and picking it's direction ........until they go to a ALL in one light for a few years and breed the strains using that light picking the ones that response best to that light it is still a gamble on how the plant the strain is going to react to it........so it better to have the light the plants were originally breed for ......for at least a few more years

2nd 90 day return .......does not like can return for full refund of money so that automatically lends hmmmm why not try this light i get free light for 80 days send it back 2 day shipping not out any money ....they have the rest of the info layed out i can make a have decent guess of how strong of a light i need for my area

your cobs are 50k hours the light is 50k/100k hours ........u worked that out on autos 20/4 time that 46or 48 (stoned little drunk) months none stop running

by then this light and cob light tech will be old news with the rate tech advances .......look at HIDs SE ballast are still main stream now the DE is coming up and some of the better brands have gone to dual use .....so it only matters on the hood style u picked

2 years ago i got ballast .......now they are dated and locked on only SE bulbs seen the price on those when it was the only style seen the price on it now lost 1/3 of value
