weekly Cupdate #1:

Neglected seedlings and a few drop of water, this is the story of this first week. Even if the blueberry is finally come out of the dirt, it was just to scream "kill me please"...

The Kushi from Devil's harvest does not seem to want to grow, she looks like shit anyway.

@GFS_Nic You forgot the security image. I did that on my first post and FC gently reminded me.
As I was searching for a smart as pic to accompany this post I figured out Pyle from Full Metal Jacket (your avatar) is same dude from Law & Order. Also Thor from adventures in Babysitting. <G>

My first official post and I think I will just make it. I was building a new room and just finished in time. The room took way longer than I expected!

Germ Date: 02/27/2016
Seeds: 4 - MOB (Mother of Berry) regular seeds
These are very popular in Maine, it will be my first attempt.
Lights: DIY CXB3590 3500CD 2-200 Watt Bars
Medium: Fox Farms Ocean Forest
Nutes: Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom
Cups: 16OZ/472ML Spidey and Double Wall Tumbler from the Dollar Store

Here are the pics showing the seeds, security image(LOL), cups and environment. The cups will move around in the room as my regular plants are added or removed. But I will keep the same two panels above the cups. Room temp is about 85 Lights On, 70 Lights off, No Cooling or Heating. They will be thirsty in these little cups.

Where are the seeds lol.

Oh I see them in the water. Haha stoned....

How are you rigging those cups? Are the exterior cups 16oz as well/is the bottom cut out?

Interior and Exterior are 16 OZ cups. I put the plastic tumblers in the spidey cups for a little extra height and stability. I can take them out if that violates the rules. I'll add a pic of the bottom of the cups to verify capacity.

No idea lol. I was just curious as to how they were setup.

I think if you are utilizing more than 16oz it's a no go. So if the entirety of the spider cup can be used for medium and root growth, the tops cups are bad, but if they are suspended above inside the spider cups, you may be ok. Have to ask @FrozenChozen as he's got the ultimate say here. We're just not supposed to use any more than 16oz of space.

Thanks! Yes, I would not use more than the 16oz in a single cup. That would be a no-no for sure! I'll just separate the cups. It's just better to be on the safe side.

Many stores stock it here as it is very popular, but the worst part is it's $16.99 a bag!

I'll run two cups of each size like this:
Maybe I'll learn if short and thicker is better than tall and thin :confused:

I think that may depend slightly on the strain, but definitely a good experiment.

I didnt have a security image (cheat buster) on my week one post. Does that mean your not scared of my plant at all?! Well you should be. Its gonna make a turn around kung pow drop kick right away and your all fuuuuucked. (Even budzilla!) Well that is if @mr sunshine doesnt grow a cup tree out of his butthole.
