People are definitely moving to wa. Lol. If you're active on the forums you should be seeing it. And no I don't think someone with $100k in the bank is going to move there. I think someone with several 100 thousand will. I'm in la and there's s bunch of dispensaries owned by Russians and Armenians that literally moved here from their respective countries to cash out on weed. I know one guy personally, Russian that had his dad give him about a half mill to move out here and open up a dispensary/warehouse. Their dispensary kills it. Opened up fully stocked with prices lower than any of the dispensaries in the area, by a lot.

ok and who's going to buy all that weed? those are the people I'm talking about.... some nurse from nebraska takes her life savings to move to MI to buy weed?!?! theres plenty of shady business men in michigan to open the shops ITS THE CUSTOMER BASE IM TALKING ABOUT.
I've been a salesman in this state for more 18 years. electronics specifically. you know how many top end samsung or sony we sell?? a few.. you know how many vizio we sell?? A FUCKLOAD AND A HALF! like i said with the natties ice comparison. the economy here isn't based on the best weed for the top dollar or the worst weed for cheap..
people here demand about a 75-85% quality level at a 60-70% price level and as a business owner if your customer base demands decent quality at a low price your in trouble. samsung competes in this market by slapping a vizio sticker on the outside of a samsung TV and selling it a bit cheaper but in the farming world you just can't slap a lower price on some top shelf theres noticeable differences and you will go poor soon with that business model.
in our market a high yielding strain that keeps you above 1g/w and eats less then normal is your best bet. but in our rapper centric culture things like OG and Blueberry have taking most of the market share and those are low low yielders so finding a strain to emulate the quality and taste of the local favorites that yields more then normal and costs less then normal to produce is megaweeds only chance... and are they going to pull that off? I'm sure one or 2 might but thats a fucking MASTER master grower who set that up for success and not the dispensary owner.
in economic climates like we see ourselves in michigan its much better to emulate a farmer then any grower you see on the internet. farmers know how to put a minimum in and get a maximum out of high quality.
