Bought a Lighthouse Hydro Tent 5x5x7. I started with a ladder and a painters plastic sheet around it with two 80w CFL lights. Moved to an old used 4x3x6

I have 4 of the same black bucket that will be in the tent and this bucket will be outside of the tent. The other buckets are currently in stand alone DWC.

I'll be using and a new 14,000 BTU AC unit.

Any tips on getting this going? I also am using a 1000 gph inline pump.

Im doing the same thing my has a few extra stuff to. Use a control bucket with a manafold and conet the buckets to each other so 3 lines per bucket. Have over flows to idk how high you need it to be

The bucket in the picture will be the control. The 1/2in grommets just came today.

OK. Here is the completed control bucket. It's using a hydro farm 1000 gph inline pump. Manifolds are the blue top pieces.

In about a month I'll have the other buckets available and I'll be plugging in the rest of the system.

Also attached are the original plans and the copy I used for parts, I used Amazon prime.image.jpg image.jpgimage.jpg

Plan looks good try adding 1 or more air stones per bucket get a big air pump. The more air in the water is going to make them grow faster. Look in h2o2 for dwc it has helped save a few of my girls. I wish i could show you my pic

If your planning on using 1/2" tubing for your feed and returns that pump is WAY too big. 1000gph is going to need at least 2" pvc lines.

If it was me and your just trying to mess around with rdwc start by using a water farm air column for your recirc. Doing it this way will give almost no heat problems.

What size pump do you think?

What will happen if I use the 1000 gph? I already bought it. I was reading up on what my tube is rated for PSI and it says 70 PSI for the max and the 1000 GPH hydro farm pump produces 4.9 PSI. The fittings are solid, I'll show what happens soon.

Keep in mind the more air pumps and bubblers you have, the more heat you have blowing into your res since the majority of big air pumps produce a ton of heat in the air that they supply to the bubblers. If you arent running a chiller this could be a big issue.

OK. We're back! Harvest finished up, three plants, 12 full jars. I'll get a little under a pound about .8 lb

So now on to the next grow setup.

The setup is all linked together inside the tent. I am using foam copper tube split tube covers for the black water pipe to help keep the water cold from the light beating down on them. I had to cut a single hole in the back of the tent for the inline pump which will sit outside of the tent.

It will leak no matter how small a hole you stuff your gromet into. Even if it takes days the leak any, it will eventually. I just found this out through experience. So, get this stuff. The can in the picture and spray the inside and out of every hole you with everything connected, hit the hose and the connection points too to really seal it all good.

I'll also be taking pipes off the fittings and using this so when the pumps kick on everything doesn't shoot apart and water go flying everywhere.

I wouldnt permanently affix anything with that unless you dont plant to clean/sterilize your gear in between grows. They make clamps for those that are removable just for this reason.
