I can't thank you enough!
I have checked out a few things online and I really appreciate you leading me in the right direction.
I've added these to my cart.
For the kelp, do you have a recommendation?
I just realized FF has a line for it also.
I will stop using the hydrogen peroxide also.
I have made sure to water between feelings and check for 20% run off.
I don't want the salts building up and have lock out.
I haven't opened TIGER Bloom. Grow Big has been used once as its directions are once per week with seedlings which I did qtr strength.
And I mixed that with Big Bloom at qtr strength also. PHd it down and kept PPM below 600
That was first feeding. Yesterday was PH water only.
For the lights I was looking at T8s and they were relatively inexpensive and give less heat then HPS (which I can invest in once I purchase portable AC)
That or a T5...
I'm going to mix up their next feeding they are very light and hardly damp

Well I am learning the ways.
Plants were damp last night and I refrained from watering. They rewarded me. Most of them are picking up their droopy leaves and I see many now on there next set of leaves.
New growth is a much greener.
Original leaves have gained a significant amount of color back also!!!!! Will post pics soon!
Feeding is next. Half strength Big Bloom and Grow Big will be mixed up shortly.

Hello, I only read the first post (short of time and that was a long intro lol)so I apologise if I say something which has already been said.
I'm doing a CFL grow rite now, at week 6 of flower and things didn't turn out as well as I had expected. Your question about whether to go for several low watt bulbs or 2 high watt bulbs.. With hindsite I would say several lower watt bulbs. I bought a 200w dual spec. And I also got a 105 w 6500k for veg. Gives of good light but the spread is not as efficient as if I'd have bought more lower watt bulbs.

T5's work! But take a look at what a friend does with T5's. See the set up? It's light intensity your shooting for. This is a LONG thread but, contains such valuable information you should take a cpl a days and read it - note taking is good!
What size area are you intending to use? Lets see what lighting choices you'll have for that......

The ONLY 2 kelp/seaweed extracts I'll use are AGE OLD KELP EXTRACT and MAXICROP SEAWEED EXTRACT.......I do use the green label (organic) Thrive Alive (kelp base) in making an organic feed. I like the added things and the 1-1-1 NPK ratio it brings to the table but that's for when I'm building a feed - not used as a Kelp extract for "everyday" use...
It was tough, but the reward was worth it.
Seeing but the growth by letting the dry completely was eye opening. I wish I had learn better watering practices about two weeks sooner
But they are enjoying the new schedule and showing the love!

I nearly ordered a couple of the "large CFL" thank you for your input on that experience and letting me know what you'd change.
That will help me tremendously.

That link of light is an excellent read thank you for sharing! I am going to continue with it and hopefully it will shed some light on the best choice for my climate and space.
And thanks for answering the Seaweed/Kelp question. Once I get home I'll print out some good reads on those and make a expidited order to get the girls fed.

The girls have gained a lot of color back IMO...lets take a looksies...last night they had there feeding...still damp, prob will need a reg. watering by afternoon.

To a gallon distilled. PH down to 6.4 and ppm >300
A little bit of residue, I think from me feeding them and it splashed on the leaves...I need to get a spray bottle for foliar feeding that reminds me
This one caught a light burn..
This one has a little ways to go...Lots of curling.
Now this one was the worst of them all...I fed this girl with a little bit of MG tomato mix 7 days ago..it healed her up nicely...wont try that again.
Sticking to the FF Trio for the remainder...

Those still look very damp. I'd give it at least another day before you water them again. Possibly 2 days.
Stick your finger in the soil to your second joint/ knuckle if you still feel even a small amount of moisture they don't need watering. Drying your plants out promotes root growth as they will actively search out water in your growing medium.

Damn Dan! Vey nice stalk! I have kept the isolating fan on them since they sprouted on low, just enough to give them a wiggle or two every breeze. Hopefully it build them up nice and strong like yours! Thanks for sharing!
If I went two days without watering right now in this small peat moss smart cups they would be crispy! These things dry extremely quick! I cannot stand them.
I wait to water until one knuckle deep is 100% dry, and by measuring the weight... I trained myself with a small pot that just had dry soil in it. I lift it first to gauge the others.
I am really hoping once I transplant I will not have to water then nearly as much...I am waiting for them to show a significant amount of growth and prove healthy before I shock them with a another transplant..I feel confident with doing them now.
If they survived the transplanting I did to them out of the peat moss seedling cups they were in (shot glass size) to these larger peat moss cups (1/2 size of a red solo)...then I have faith they will survive their next move with a quicker recovery!
I want to move them into their final home and would like to use the larger fabric smart pots...they seem to be of assistance with two great things...over watering and self pruning. Which can help me avoid root rot.
I haven't made a choice on their final homes yet...or the gallon size.
That would be very nice, about $20 in lights and stop there! haha
I have enough watts to maybe take 1 all the way to flower...I am upgrading as I go.
I am looking at a few options for much better lighting as I type this.
