Things aren't looking to good right now.. The whole weight/millagram laws are changing. I heard they are doing it by potency and not weight. Right now I can legally drive around with a QP of concentrates on me.. That is all about to change

Nothing is changing in CO in regards to weight/milligram or potency.

Same old rules. If you have a medical license you can have two ounces on your person, one ounce if you do not have a license.
You can basically have as much as you want at your residence.

I am not a fan of weight limits as I can legally buy as much booze as I want, but there is no reason for me to have more than 2 ounces away from home, really.

Amendment 64 to legalize rec marijuana got more votes than Obama did and would not have passed with out some conservative support.
There will be no monopoly here ever. Medical is in our state constitution.

There are no "warrantless walk throughs" on legal grows. The license stipulates that you are subject to inspection.
There are raiding illegal grows.

I guess it's logical that there was going to be all kinds of cause and effect issues being analyzed and 2 years later is not unexpected I wouldnt think. Issues that involve Mexican cartels is nothing new, nor is it exclusive to Colorado by any means.
I do wonder though, even as I did when they first legalized it, how do you really good a good reading on DUI with regards to weed? The fucked up drug testing I have to go through all the time says that I may have used marijuana sometime in the last 30 days. Obviously, that isn't going to work, so just how do they determine this in CO and where and how do they draw the lines ?

I'm not worried. If you do not smell like weed and your car does not smell like smoke then you are fine. If you act weird or high maybe you should not be driving after smoking.

I bought all my guns previous to having a medical license. I filled out the same form every one does across the country.
If you smoke weed and buy a firearm you are going to have to commit perjury anywhere in the country.


I have zero problem with anyone lying about marijuana use while filling out a federal form.

I totally get it man. But, you also have to realize that some stoners are to blame for some of these policies. I mean we were talking about these idiots blowing themselves up making BHO. you are correct. form 4473 for purchase of firearm asks if you are a unlawful user or addicted to MJ and other drugs.

MJ is illegal on the federal level. ATF don't give an F about state law.

Felons can't be legal growers. Legal grows are so strictly regulated and expensive there is no reason to do anything illegal. A few dispensaries have been nailed. If you are savvy enough and have enough money to get through the permitting and licensing process you pretty much have it made for the time being.

If you are legit and can not make great money legally, you have to be dumb.
