So update on the closet and what ive currently changed.Just got the 35watt 15000k kessil led installed. So as of right now I have this.

1 apache tech at200 at 170watts,supplies blue at 450nm,green and 630nm red.(general growth and vigor)

1 kessil h380 rated at 90watts for 660nm spike.(currently only going to use during bulking phase)

1kessil a150 rated at 35 watts supplies uv and 15000k deep blues. (Trichome production)

A grand total of 300watts of led if everything is running.

Could I have done it cheaper, with less watts? Probably...do I care? Nope, this will give me some spectral control. The ability to target more specific points of the spectrum. In my mind thats one of the main benefits of led.We will just have to see what comes of it.Here are 3 photos 1 under just the 15000k kessil, the 660nm kessil and all 3 together. What I can tell you now is that these are some of the densest buds ive grown, cant wait to see how this plant enventually finishes up.

Amen Rez. I love using extra lighting just for that reason. Just like people love to say they rather have quality over quantity I'd rather waste a little wattage to get those rock hard hashy nugs I know multiple light sources can provide. I'm into efficacy, not so much system efficiency. 15000K during the initial stretch would be real interesting.

The optics on the apache are great for putting light down, without creating what I would call intensity hot spots.

The kessils are nice because even though they have a bit higher intensity in the center that can create a hot spot, their maneuverability on a gooseneck is sweet.I like tinkering with mine moving them around ,even though they do seem to cover my space well,I think that center can get a little warm.

What sort of led are you using

Shes already started her fade so ill start tapering down ec from here on out.

On another note my baby S.O.D.K x Alien, broke up through the rooter this morning. So by the time my 24carat finishes we should be starting training on the newcomer.

Im calling this day 1,hello S.O.D.K,shes under my kessil h380 90watt led on the grow spectrum, interested to see how this thing veges.

At this point im just keeping the rooter moist with a 10ml syringe of tap water.I may add a slight bit of kelp to assist rooting, but mainly just water for 10 days or so.

For this run im going back to my dynagro, lucas was interesting but I really dont think its "easier" I think it works, but too much of a pain in the ass.

Ill be treating my tapwater with .5ml gallon of total pond barley extract pond cleaner enzymes. This helps keep alge at bay and helps to regenerate nutrients from old root matter and helps neutralize chloramines.Props to ironh3ad over at gc and @kmog33 for this suggestion.Ive been running this and like it.

Ill be using dynagro foilage pro 9-3-6 from 2 nodes to flower.

At flower im going to change to dynagro grow 7-9-5 and protekt 0-0-3

Protekt will be .5ml per 2liter,this gives me about .2ec

For additives ill be using bioag fulpower fulvic acid at 3ml per liter throughout. And florolicious + at .5ml per 2liter for last few weeks. The fulvic acid helps keep nutrients more mobile, within the plant and opens the PH window a bit.The Floralicious + I like for bud hardening and flavor.

My booster program is 1ml of liquid koolbloom 0-10-10 twice in the plants life.

The first is at transition to flower, when the first true bud sites start popping up.

The second is about 3weeks into flower, when the bulking phase begins.

Thats it,anymore and I find p/k loading to be a waste and more harm than good.Excessive potassium leads to calcium/magnesium deficiencies.

Ec target should be 1-1.4 depending on how she feeds,we shall soon see.

Interesting.... I don't use any special lighting (MH - HPS) and I found that trichome production is more dependent on the strain or genetics of the plant...

Cant say how much im enjoying my new lighting, the apache is performing well as my workhorse and im putting it through its paces, running 24/7.We will see just how well made and durable these fixtures are.And I have full confidence in apache,I know they stand behind their product 100%.

They were frosty before, but since adding 15000k deep blues,im noticing the frost piling on thick.Props to @RM3 for the suggestion, ive learned alot about lighting intensity and how too much isnt always a good thing.Looking at flouro guys like RM3 and @whitebb2727 growing fire with tubes has really made me stop and think. So thank you RIU for helping me along...in my quest for fire.
