Give me a second edit this, switching to the pc
"she is still married to him"
Oh hell no. You saying she couldn't save 1000 in 5 years for a divorce? Dude she's a monkey. She's not letting him go till she's got something else lined up. RUN

yup you have to prove your marriage is real
you also have to do an interview with some fancy pants head of department in order to prove your marriage is real
they ask you a lot of personal questions. to see if your stories are straight

i just recently sent in my first "proof of marriage evidence" it had to include our story, photos of us together, passport photos, all of our employment histories , places of living, etc etc
its very indepth , huge list of shit basically.
hefty price tag to send along with it as per usual. and the best thing is if its denied they dont refunds so you have to apply again with money again. and they will deny you for simply having the wrong folder used.

all in all i still have a long way to go to get my green card to be able to work, and my process is sped up because im married to a military member, so you really need to be sure when you sponsor someone you are able to afford a one income household.

like i said previously nothing will ever make me want to work illegally in this country there is no amount of money that would make me want to do it.
why?
because if im deported /caught than im seperated from my husband and possibly my child. and i will never take that chance.

So sunni I have two simple assault charges that are 11 years old if not older. 1 DWI, two small theft charges that are 12 years old, one resisting arrest, two invading arrest, about 4 possession of marijuana under two ounces. My last charge was the DWI and it's maybe 6 to 7 years old..

What do you think? Can I even get a passport? I don't have any felonies..

You can get a passport but certain countries will not allow you to enter such as Canada. Dwi is a big one here. Research the country uou need.

So are you implying she is still with him? Lol

I face chat with her all day. She lives in Qatar, he lives in the Philippines. I post all over her facebook everyday..

She is reading this, could you please not call her a monkey... Just saying..

I've asked everyone to be respectful.

She told me she is still reading this thread, she said when she finishes she will post. We need to set her up an account. I'll have her pm you. So maybe she can talk to your wife. I'm sure she will enjoy that..

I kinda wish I had used better mannerism in my first post, it was douchey..

But I am glad your wife read this .
I told her I'm not nearly as jaded as she is though. Ha. I believe it could totally work. I'd just go slow bro.

And very true. No one hears your conversations. So we definitely can't accurately judge. I think folks are just looking out for ya. :)

For real Canada? So I can never enter a country because of a 7 year old misdemeanor
You can possibly it is very complicated. Idk if the u.s does the same as here vut you can have charges taken off your rexord after ao many years 4? I believe it is.

Somehwere like Australia they have diff rules like a certain amount of time spent incarcerated or ao recent and you need to be interviewed for a chance yo enter. I know that because I want to go visit and hopefully move there. Chances are it will not happen seeing as I have fed charges pending and am dangerously close to the time apent in jail.

I know someon3 in the Phillipines and will send them a message when she wakes up. She would probably know.

Criminal charges also arent always forwarded to border is what my lawyer has told me. I have entered the u.s with pending charges/ on probation

no you wouldnt be allowed into canada. they would turn you away at the border what you can do is appeal to the country and try to get in. but often they will still deny you

you need to start actually legitimately researching the laws you can find answers to all your questions on the american websites for passports, and entry to philippines government website.
i know its nice to hear things from others on forums, but honestly just go the government website routes they will have all your answers for you.

you will probably have troubles being a sponsor for her and her child though ,

Hey sunni I just called asking about the K1 visa program. It was in the Philippines, they said if I didn't have any felonies it wouldn't be a problem. The guy gave me a bunch of tips and was very nice. He said come visit her, take pictures of us together, when I get home I can file for her K1 visa, and he said it was only $1080 and shouldn't be a problem. He also said save all of our text, and I have there are 1000s of them, he said that is perfect.

But I have about $2000 in warrants in Texas for minor driving volations.. :( I had no intentions on ever paying those.. Lol I guess I might have to now...

But on a good note I just filed my taxes today and I have a pretty penny coming back..

I have a little over a 1000 coming back, but I only worked legally 3 months last year, and only claimed 30% of my tips.. Lol

At some point I'd think the dwi would fall off your driving record. Took 7 years for my last speeding ticket to drop off.

Careful, they just did a warrant round up down here for folks like you. Mostly it was, take you down town, offer you a deal to pay or spend time in jail.

Yeah I haven't been in trouble in a long time. My thing is I don't pay my tickets.. I would usually sit them out. But I'm not in the same state anymore..

I'd be more then happy with jail time.
But I seriously doubt that Colorado will pick me up on driving tickets from Texas.. Hell texas didn't care why would Colorado?

Not unless you get stopped, even then they may just say "oh by the way Texas is looking for you" all depends on if it's worth extraditing you back here.

Lol extradition would be retard on the governments part, but I wouldn't put it pass them.

I've paid them plenty enough... They should be giving me a kick back at this point.
So I'm guessing you are from the infamous lone star state?

Yeah those surcharges suck ass.. Colorado doesn't have them. I just did my taxes tonight and I didn't make very much money last year so I can file for egligence and get that shit dismissed
