I originally had a 6" intake with a 6" active air fan/carbon filter. The walls would suck in, reducing space in the tent. I have since opebed another flap to increase intake by 2x. No intake fan. Works perfect. Temps are perfect, night and day.

I know some growers use fans for intake but doesn't make sense to me. If you have an enclosed space air will be forced through a passive intake.

If temps are good, then you're all good! My temps were way outta whack, hence me throwing additional fans at the tent. Cool tube soon, once I figure out logistics of it!

At least with the tent walls ducking in, you have definite negative pressure and all the air inside the tent is being drawn through the carbon scrubber. Think ill invest in a bigger exhaust fan and speed controler further down the line. Credit card can only take so much abuse!

All air still seems to be running through the carbon filter. Room has no smell. Open the tent...boom...skunky goodness!

Hey sick, sorry im late.
I sprouted my c4 a day before yours did
But mine is stunted and im waiting on her to unstunt. Reason why shes stunted is cause she was in a solo cup for too long. And this morning i went out to the tent and i had her bucket sitting on a little box since shes in a 3.5 gal anyways somehow it tipped over and half the dirt spilled out. It also swallowed my fuckin termometer... to the depths of which i couldnt find... lol. Se la vi i guess.
I put the dirt back and tried to disrupt the roots as little as possible.
Probably will be a little while until shes back on track and looking anything like yours of like age.
Btw punk rocks great.
Looking forward to see how your mk progresses

Right now I'm sticking with sticking seeds straight into pre warmed final pot, pretty good success with that so far. Sure the Auto Ultimate woulda been fine if I'd have left it well alone too! Got the Speed Seeds Blueberry sprouted today, Northern Lights will be along tomorrow. Been doing some UGLY ass low stress training on Tha Shiznit today.

Fingers crossed for the MK, may not train her at all and try for a fat main cola. Dunno though, I like to piss about in there!

Your thermometer has gone to a better place...

Nice man. What strains are they? How long do the older ones have until harvest?

With my temp issues, I'm not sure what to do. Its only gonna get warmer over the next 6-8 months. Cool tube would be a quick fix, and I think its the only air cooled unit I could fit in a tent my size. Other option would be a bigger extract fan but that would also mean a bigger filter and also a speed controller. The cool tube I can get for £26. Not sure how much I could get a quality fan filter setup for.

I need a cup of tea.

They are all 4 Jack Herer autos. I think about 3 more weeks til harvest. Time will tell.
I had to order a microscope to check trichomes.
I downloaded a free app from Google Playstore. I was actually surprised I got a half decent macro shot. Here's a pic.

I have no experience with HID/MH lights, and all my research has been primarily LED. From what I have seen and heard is the cool tube is kinda mandatory. I think it would save you alot of hassle.

Upped nutes to half strength, and fed a day earlier than planned as pot was feeling about right. She's looking good, still not sure if I'll train this one or just leave her be. Photo follows shortly

If you don't want to LST, you could ponytail. That works great to get some undergrowth. Although it looks a little stout fir any kind of "bush training" idk, just a thought.

If you take some sort of gentle wiring, like pipe cleaners, and pull the top growth together, wrapping pipe cleaner around it, to secure it GENTLY. This will open her up some. Give me a min. I will fetch you a pic

Ah, I see. Haircut wise, looks more like a topknot to me! Simple enough... I'll see how she does over next couple of days with the half strength nutes, then have a think.

I managed to drop the light to about 26" above the canopy, with temps at 29c-ish. Temp increase seemed worth it for the increased light intensity, we shall see!
