Was just thinking along those lines before I read this last post. I couldn't live off of it but these guys do many some decent money and they are lazy as fuck. Beating and bashing stuff like it's filled with pillows.

I ordered a set of stainless headers for my truck and the sone of a bitch looked like it was run over by a tank. No shit the 5/8 flange was bent at least 2 inches from flat. How does this happen and the cock suckers have the nerve to still drop on your step.

I'm thrilled about the intensity of the lights. Being 600 watts and visually brighter than the kind is impressive! Is that actual watts?

Actual watts is 730 and it's the brightest grow light I've ever seen . I've checked out numerous leds,I've seen guys using 1000 watt hps that don't touch the illumination of this light . Words don't do it justice , seriously . 1 vs 1 kind is like a lit match next to the At600 and the footprint on The At600 is bigger than kind . Apache says its bigger than a 4x4 footprint and it is . They aren't lying .
Can't wait to get this shipped back and get my replacement ASAP . I can confidently say that I'll be getting another At600 in the near future .

Yeah , looks like some one just threw the shit around along the way. You'd think those guys make enough money to not destroy the shit they are delivering.

Apparently Apache is a smaller company but they have great customer service . As soon as they have confirmation my broken light is picked up by UPS tomorrow they are sending me another one out same day (tomorrow ) that's awesome customer service .
One of their people took my call this morning ( it was 7am California time ) he was in middle of Getting his kids off to school and the guy returned my call and was ready to help me .
You can't beat that. That's stellar customer service to me . That's what I'm paying for , not just the awesomely made Led but the support for the customer after they get the product .

They've earned my business and any future additions to my lights and garden will come from Apache Tech.

From what I've seen the at600 pulls between 740-850 at the wall. So it's a bit more power than a 600, but still less than a 1k. Nice that Apache was quick working with you to replace the light.

I don't want to make light (no pun) of the situation but did I see 70lbs?!! I'd drop that dam thing too! Least he broke his foot when he kicked it!

They are covering shipping this time to and from , which is hefty if you want air service 560$ for 2 day air from Cali to Vermont

And yes it weighs every bit of 71 pounds

But with that weight comes a SOLIDLY made product . This thing is built like a tank all the way around which blows my mind even more that UPS was able to fuck it up so bad . They dropped it hard as hell from a distance , not only did it crush the corner it broke the fan in that corner as well . But when you see this thing in person and feel what and how it's made of it seems like the only way you could damage it is if you were trying to .

When I look at my kind led next to this thing it's like the At600 took a shit and that's what ya get lol . I still like the kind as a mid level product I suppose but I won't buy another .

And I just want to thank the folks at Apache for their great customer service and a great product line . They might not be as Marketable as Kind but if people knew more about it and how solid it is it would sell itself.

I'm new at this shit but I'm serious about growing and this setup is definitely for the serious grower who wants serious results .

Even though it was damaged I was blown away by it , it was like a kid getting exactly what he wanted for Christmas lol
Except when I plugged it in I went fucking blind and had to fumble around for my method 7s

Im glad you like your new grow light.Apache is great to work with and the lights are top notch. While I have to admit my tactics were a bit harsh..and like I said from the beginning I WAS bashing your lights, not you.I think we both wound up going to some extremes in our exchange.I for one am sorry for my part in that exchange, and hope you have many awesome grows ahead of you.

In any case I think you can see the difference in quality now and the sentiment I was trying to convey.

Good luck to you billy.

I appreciate you saying that , I did go too far myself and I apologize as well . I think you could help a lot of people with well thought out advice as you have experience with the lights and can make some good suggestions .
You got me to do more research and as much as I didn't want to say it you were mostly right . Kind lights work , but there are far superior products out there. I'll use the kind lights I bought until I replace them one by one with more Apache fixtures .
And as a new grower I'm open to any advice you might offer .

Vt isn't to far from Ri, when your ready I'll steal my wife's Prius, put 9 bucks in gas and head to scoop them kinds up.

Thrilled that you got the top notch light billy. Your motivated to make shit happen and now I think you'll kill it.

Since resinhound is all lovey dovey maybe he can help me get some good cobs. I think we all should trust his judgement at this point

I'll be happy to give you a small discount on my kinds after I use them for a few grows . Once I make some of my investment back I'll be adding some more at600s to my stable .. 5 or 6 would be ideal

Also I think the At600 weighs as much as Prius lol

Ok back to business here , I'm a week into flower and those damn spots are coming back on Mostly upper leaves
Some browning on the edges and some spots between veins and a couple twisted fan leaves .

The plants are huge and over all look healthy still aside from these new symptoms .
Up until a couple of days ago they were totally perfect , still praying when light is on etc . I haven't done anything different and I've been including cal mag in feeding
It will be lights on for them in about 20 minutes so I'll take a couple pics of anyone can offer a ideas , when this issue occurred before i added cal mag and it cleared right up . So is it possible since the plants are so much larger they need more than iM giving them or could it be something else ?
Humidity is hovering Around 55% but I'm getting a dehumidifier Tomorrow , I've notice d water / moisture building up where leaves touch also .

They are in a 4x4 for another week or so u til my new space is ready . It seems to me they are suffocating each other though . There are 5 full sized plants in it and a couple clones that are much smaller . They are almost 4 feet tall and and about 2 and a half feet wide . Each plant was topped early on and they exploded with mulitple heads now and an incredibly thick canopy .
I've trimmed and pruned and they keep growing more and more .
Definitely don't want to fuck up now since I've gotten them this far , I've heard that problems in flower can be seriously detrimental to yield and quality of final Harvest .
Once I get in my new space I'll be expanding and have the room to work and give each plant the attention it needs but until then
I'm open to any advice or suggestions regarding the spots on the mid to upper fan leaves

The bigger they get the more they suck up nutrients. I personally feed everytime they are dry and it's been doing well. They get bigger and drink more well they get a sooner feeding. I also had some issues earlier on. I added calmag with little difference. The grow shop recommended sugar daddy which is just basically magnesium an d sulfur. Since adding it they look amazing.

I checked the run off from feeding / watering tonight and it ph of runoff is 6.2 and that's been fairly consistent
My plants in coco are over all doing fantastic
The 2 that I have in waterfarms are ok , one is growing pretty nicely and the other has stunted growth like it hasn't grown in over 2 weeks
The roots in both are a lot darker now , more of a brownish color .. Is that natural do to the nutrient mix or is that indicative of root rot ? Not sure on that one

My partner uses them,,Leds that is they are not bad as is pointed out plants like light any light for the most part,,Light is like a rainbow ,,there are many spectrum's,, each a color,,I would use some florescent in the room as well ,,use full spectrum bulbs ,,these are called daylight bulbs ,,it is what photographers use as it is meant to be like natural light ,,you can get at normal depot type store in town ,, they cost me 34 bucks for a case of 10 bulbs almost cool to the touch,,great added light for all veg or any growth,,,Led do work but we use them as a added light not the main source ,,,,,,we do not have big enough lights to just do straight LED
