As you can see in the pic my one plant basically fills the entire tent. I veg in a small closet and then flower in my tent so my small closet kinda limits my plant count as well, I might run a perpetual type grow next winter where i'll have two plants flowering in my tent but they'll be staggered by a months time.

I hear ya, why do more work...I have two strains though so I guess 4 buckets would be good. Just in case, I don't like letting a strain get down to one plant. I take clones right before switching to flower to keep my perpetual grow going. I ran out of smoke and had to buy some the other day, it sucked so bad I went and ordered the light, never again. I would be embarrassed to sell that shit, not that I sell mine.

Yeah 4 will work great under the 600, get a nice batch from each strain.

I hear ya man, i could never buy weed again after growing my own.

My mate shows me the stuff he's bought when I haven't been around to sell him some, its so shite lol it's bright green because it hasn't been dried properly, or its been fast dried, covered in leafs. It must taste harsh as fuck! And they weigh around 1g for a 10! I do him around 1.7g of my nice cured bud for the same price.
Anywho, any updates buddy? :grin:

After growing my own it just hurts to see shitty weed lol just sad that someone could just turn something so beautiful into something so ugly haha

Not really too much happening man, LSD virtually looks the same in pics, still tucking her under. Obv getting the net more filled but I took a pic like yesterday and it looked almost the same as the last one so i didn't bother posting lol. I'm right about at a filled net, not really sure what to do from there, I don't want it to get way over the net like Amensia, so I can either try to raise the current net with higher legs(kinda goofy to make all different sized legs for short periods though cuz it's gunna stretch so much in the next couple weeks) or build a second net to sit as a second story net. Still thinking about that one.

Amnesia is still trucking along, I feel like she'll finish next December at this rate. I can say the buds appear to be in the stage of hardening up rather than growing outward. My colas actually have become too heavy and are leaning, one of em actually kinda fell over and was only being held by leaning on some other buds. Got some string and ran it around the outside perimeter of about all of the buds and tied it in a circle to hold em. Then got another string and wrapped it in a circle around all the big buds more in the center. Then the fallen cola was in the middle so I tied that cola to the inner circle of string to hold her up. It worked exactly as I imagined, was pretty surprised!

Hey mate, I am have am doing a similar grow in a 2x2x5 with a 250CFL. Just curious how big our tent is, what temp you room runs at and what is the ambient temp where you live? I had run a 250W HPS for a short time and temps soared. Am interested to see what you yield. I think running a 600w is out of the question for me, but perhaps a 250-400 in the cooler months.

My tent is a 3x3x7 foot. I run in my basement so it's much colder than normal, I'm running a 600w HPS now so light on temp gets up to 79-81, i have a 1500w little space heater down in the 15x15' foot(rough guess, maybe 10x10'?) basement room that my tent is in set on 65F. It's late and I've been drinking but I think the room stays around 60 degrees and drops down to maybe low 50's at light out. Tent temp at light out drops to around 60 as well. Outdoor temps recently are 40ish at night and 60-70 at day max, other temps were consistent at even colder outdoor temps tho, my cold basement is kind of an "extreme" factor per say.

What are some more details on your setup? Is the tent in a room near living area, ambient indoor temp the tent is in? Can you cool that room, ect.? Ventilation?

I use a galaxy 250 -400 switchable ballast which gives me options

I'm looking t building a scrog similar to yours with adjustable legs as different plants have different stretch rates I'm accumulating materials

Gotta love the switchable ballast. That was the main reason I got mine, goes up to 600 watt and has the super lumen setting for when the bulbs are reaching the end of their lives.


Also Anon, sick buds man, awesome job for real. I loved the DWC set up, what I have been using this past year learning how to grow, and was successful every harvest. Only lost a plants when I was using soil.

What's your thoughts on making it adjustable? I feel like there's a good simple way to do it but I'm not the handiest. My best theory is what I'm going to do today, just put taller leg posts in, but its gunna be a bit of a pain getting the pvc apart while being gentle not to break any branches.
I wish I had like knotches, almost like a pop up tent or like those adjustable shower rods that you twist.
Reason being I prefer to start real low to train ASAP but now that it's stretching so much I need to stay with it or else i'll loose canopy control if it just grows thru real high like my first amnesia scrog. I know the other option is a second layer net.

How is the dim able ballast working out ? I have a 1000w dim able ballast & one of those oversize hoods I've never fired up a friend gave them to me right before I moved I've used 1000 ,600 ,400& 250 w. Overall I did some of my best grows with a 600 good balance of performance & economy

I havn't had to use it yet actually. I just veg with my 250w upstairs in my closet and then move down under the 600w. When i start up again i may veg under the 600w dimmed.

How is the amnesia ripening? My diablo turned overnight what I estimate @ 3 weeks turned into days in 1 night I have made more mistakes with this grow than all my others combined I'm gonna grow it again after the mk ultra - X - bubblegum unless the mk- cross is just off the hook

I feel like i complain about it every time I post about it so i've been trying not too haha but yeah the danm thing is taking its sweet ole time..it's like slow motion lol
Every other day I can see a slight change, so I know it's getting there, just real slowly.
She's down to only wanting .2 EC of feed, i wouldn't say her water intake has changed much though. Still drinking a good lot.
