Crown is trying to dismiss Goldstars completely.
a lot of crap to read.
I read the 100 page one and it's just so wrong! i would LOVE to see these same people NEED MMJ for themselves or family..then they'd get what they are doing.
saying because we won Allard, all the other stuff is moot..and that we should wait until the new regime is in place
Jct: Crown serves Motion to Dismiss 300 Gold Stars
Gold Stars should have received an email with a PDF with the Crown's documentation for their motion to dismiss all our claims because of Allard. Here's a recap.
We sued to strike the MMPR as unconstitutional and get damages.
The Crown says that now that Allard has struck the MMPR as unconstitutional, your damages suits are settled.
Har har har har har har. Almost as stupid as them trying to prevent my Summary Judgment under S.213 (for Defendants who filed their Statements of Claim) when I had filed under S.210 (for Defendants in default.) I filed under the Default Summary Judgment section but they tried saying it was the other section by omitting S.210.
I'm not going to read it tonight, don't want to be puked out before going to bed.
Instead, I'm going to prepare my request for a Direction from the court they're not going to be very happy with to trump their sleaziest angle.

the big one would be Terry parker Jr's case...it's how we got MMJ
he just won James Turner who was busted for 2879 plants and lots of others for getting off their charges. he was the guy who brought in the motion that got 4000 charges dropped so I would say his record isn't bad at all. not as good as I would like but still good.
I can't find his page that has a list of his wins though

i haven't seen that part of his site. Im happy with the results posted i know he fights with his heart.
He's done some miracle work i.e. 3000plants 2hrs nightly house arrest, 10b life sentence to pipe possession, 86 plants - 300$ fine and hell of a lot charges stayed, dropped or withdrawn.
Id use his kit if i was busted.

He has a heart of gold. Yes he's not going to win everyone over with his rants on vaccines, currency, ect but he has helped thousands and won't take a cent for his efforts. Says a lot about his caracter. If anyone is going to get the mmj patients what we need and deserve its John Turmel.
The crown wants to dismiss the goldstars case where we are asking for damages because they lost the allard trial. They are saying that loosing the allard case has already given us a solution to our claim but we disagree. goldstars is seeking a much broader claim then allard did. It's really about not having to jump through so many hoops every fucking year to stay/become legal.

The Crown is being the Crown. claiming we have nothing yet we do.
they tried to say (when John Turmel filed for Summary Judgement) that because the never filed their defense, JT can't file for Summary judgement. now if we tried to use that argument, how hard do you think the Crown AND judge would laugh?
what a ripple effect-because i didn't file my defense, you can't convict. i really can't believe they are trying that

If the Crown missed the deadline to file a Defense, tough nut! They know the rules of law and are now whining like The Donald. It's going to be interesting to see how the Judge (who definitely knows all the rules and procedures) tries to wiggle outta this.

Anyone else get the 3 inch thick stuff from the Crown this week. Two complete books alomst with detail after detail. Holy sheet it a lot of work to make up one of those I bet. WTF did they send that to everyone...via courier as well.
