Yea, I have. I need to pick more up, ran out a month ago. I think a big part of it is temp To. Been in the 50s again, and 30s at night. Pretty cold for good uptake of n.

I have a 45 gallon trash can I fill it, put in two heaping handfuls of earth worm castings, a shovel full of composting rabbit manure, then a dash of

From down to earth
Neem seed meal
Bat guano
Blood and bone meal
Humic acid
Kelp meal
Roots pack of myco and bennies.

Sometimes alfalfa, seabird guano, and crab meal depending on what I have on hand. I try to alternate it up a bit, but mostly just down to earth brand single ingredients

I would go heavier with castings, but looks like a good mix. Should try making up some EM1 or LAB and adding that to the mix. I think you may have this?, but if not :) http://www.hawaiihealingtree.org/how-to-make-your-own-em-1-inoculant-and-bokashi/ & http://theunconventionalfarmer.com/

Little more complex than mine lol. Hard enough to get molasses around here. I use alfalfa, molasses, organic 4-7-7, and a scoop of garden soil for castings.
Ha ha I feel ya man. I had to order molasses from amazon. I use compost which I make, castings which the worms in all the pots make, red lava rock, neem cake pellets, & molasses, oh and theres some local promix in there too ;) then I just keep planting cover crops as plants eat

Ya I am planning on doing cover crops in the pots next round on the indoor. Wanted to tbis round bit ran out of time. The outdoor pots got covered crop, it's already been tilled in and breaking down with all the amendments.

Lately I been using pumpkin shoots as they are edible and they are fast as fuck. The other thing I do, and I dont consider it tilling, though I reckon is is a form of aerating is I dump my pots after a few runs so the soil doesnt get compacted. Then I just load that same soil back into containers. I usually plant cover when herbs are 1/2 way through flower or maybe a little farther in. Then when herb done, I pull it (the goodies) up by roots and mulch under same cover crop (or lately chop cover whats edible and mulch under whats not used with new layer of same soil mix.

Yea, that sounds like a good plan. I used crimson clover last year on the big pots, after this season though I am going to do a 5 in 1 mix. there's chia seeds that were dumped into the worm bin, and then their are some sunflowers going, and I think I saw some squash from the compost coming up, but those are all just volunteers lol.

I do something similar with my pots. I dump em out, add in more EWC, more rabbit manure, and amendments, sometimes a bale of promix, if it seems like it needs more fluff. then refill. The no till is a nice idea, and I do see some of its benefits, espcailly outdoors, but as you said, indoors the soil gets to compacted.

You ever brew up alfalfa tea man? My plants love it and seems to keep em green.

Farm plans are going to shit. Looks like I may be staying in town this summer. Real disappointing.
Just noticed the last part of that. so no big acreage/ animals after all? that's to bad man!
