Yea, that sounds like a good plan. I used crimson clover last year on the big pots, after this season though I am going to do a 5 in 1 mix. there's chia seeds that were dumped into the worm bin, and then their are some sunflowers going, and I think I saw some squash from the compost coming up, but those are all just volunteers lol.
I do something similar with my pots. I dump em out, add in more EWC, more rabbit manure, and amendments, sometimes a bale of promix, if it seems like it needs more fluff. then refill. The no till is a nice idea, and I do see some of its benefits, espcailly outdoors, but as you said, indoors the soil gets to compacted.
