Great point. Being my mom's Trustee, plus having Powers of Attorney over her health and property, has put me in awkward positions with a few family members. I have no trouble saying no and honoring her wishes to the letter, but I don't relish this role. Plus, I have to keep up with the financial matters of bank accounts, taxes, paying dues, etc.. I would love to hand over the task to another, but there is no one else in the family that would handle it as competently as I do...Exactly ti I third in line successor trustee. All laws different every state. Living trust then the Bi-Pass Trust to avoid bs & prying public eyes. I was required to take a class & hasn't even been 6 month in & I have a tremendous mental burden going on (some family members hate me now). I miss my peace of mind & more than likely going to remove myself from the position. I don't harder heart it takes for the job. Its taking the joy outa my life. Not good. Sorry Grandaddy
