you water half a gallon of water in 5 gallon plants every day?! None of my plants ever showed signs of underwatering (unlike my last crop) so your suggesting I water more then I take it? these are 7 gallon fabric pots.
Yea idk if I'd water 1/2 gallon everyday that seems excessive. I give my ladies roughly 1 gallon every 3-4 days in 5 gallon pots just my experience personally I wouldn't water everyday
I get a bit of run off, but not a whole lot. I was never too concerned about it as long as something came out.OK I'm off by 25-50% Sorry about that one.
I water a metered amount everyday! MORE o2 to the roots.....Plastic 5 gallon pots. Blooming 4 cups per day and Monster 6+ footers get 6 cups per. A little less at the start to more then that at the mid budding when they really suck it up! Every lights on!
7 gallon AND fabric? 1/2 gallon every 3 days is surely light on watering! Every other at the least and be sure a whole 3/4 gallon goes IN the soil and don't count run off!
Question = Do you get run off?

Yea sure you could do nine plants in a 5+5.....9smaller plant's.....I defo COULDN'T do 9 in that space 6would be my limit......I learned my lesson quickly(a long time ago) by sticking to many plants in a space that simply wasn't big enuff(10 plants in a 8+4 space)the plants suffer immeasurably(light deprivation, bad air movement, environmental control becomes harder).......#riddle......20-30 could be done in a sog.......but.....he's not doing a sog??......too many new growers make this mistake and suffer because of it.....not realizing just how BIG an MJ plant can grow to......and at the end of the day people set themselves a target of how much they want to yield and to reach this goal they think grow more plants when in fact they have more chance of reaching their goal by growing LESS plants but doing it properly.....Bullshit. If you've got adequate ventilation, there's no reason you can't do nine plants in a 5x5.
When I do this I am pheno hunting and breeding, I grow small plants in 1/2 gallon containers from new seeds, usually flip em at 17 inches and most of em will grow to bout 3 feet while some Sat's and Sat dom's get a tad taller ( I just had to supercrop 2 lanky sats) My room is wide open so there are no crowding or air flow issues..#riddle......20-30 could be done in a sog.......but.....he's not doing a sog??......too many new growers make this mistake and suffer because of it...
True, he should water a little bit more. I'd personally do 1-1.5 gal roughly every 3-4 days depending on how they looked. But also, I don't follow regimented watering schedule, I just water when I see my plants need it which sometimes is sooner sometimes later but imo is better than following schedules7 gallon AND fabric? 1/2 gallon every 3 days is surely light on watering! Yea I've seen ALOT of your work RM(very impressive) l was only commenting on the fact that nine good size plants would be pretty cramped in a 5+5 space .......unless.....like yourself their is a reason to keep the plants small.......overcrowding is a problem I feel it isn't discussed enuff on most of our forum's....When I do this I am pheno hunting and breeding, I grow small plants in 1/2 gallon containers from new seeds, usually flip em at 17 inches and most of em will grow to bout 3 feet while some Sat's and Sat dom's get a tad taller ( I just had to supercrop 2 lanky sats) My room is wide open so there are no crowding or air flow issues

2 things.I get a bit of run off, but not a whole lot. I was never too concerned about it as long as something came out.

Every other daySo what is the suggested water regimen? I wouldnt want to wait for my plant to be droopy before I feed. Is there anything before that to look for? Most people tell me to go by weight, but i have a hard time with that. Maybe i should just try to stick with it some more. So instead i just went with every 3 days. I will water more whatever the case.
Less plants, they will be fighting for space. This will take the effort from getting the buds to fill out,Also take the bottom's of early in flowering this will get more production into the top's.Some strains just do not get dense though, like tga's jack the ripper johnsons gdppbc they just a fluffy bud.How do you get denser buds? I'm On my third harvest but I'm still lacking the density that I would like. Buds look pretty decent on harvest day (until I get to the bottom of the plant, I need to do more pruning next time) but after about a 4 day hang dry, they look a lot less dense

I was watering a half gallon per plant every 3 days. Using gh maxi series and calmag. After everything was added I believe it was about 600-700 ppm in the water. But I fed every single waterng. With no visible ill effects. But I am growing soilless, so I was told to feed every time. But I believe my feedings are on the lighter side per the amount of waterEvery other day
1.5 gallons (reduce or increase as needed)
Now I'm no fan of "smart pots" But you can let them sit in the run off till it's taken back up by the plant. This can be not the best Idea if you are a heavy feeder.....be sure to alternate feeding with a plain water, watering = "feed - water - feed - water etc, etc."
Kinda uncomfortable with that still....but, like I said if your not pushing your plants and your alternating your feed and water,,,, it should be ok.
What DO you feed with and how much per and how often?
Ok. Should I be using something special like a carb or pk booster? I just use the a and b with calmag and root enhancerYou should run concentrations higher and alternate feed, water. This gives tempering time. It will also help keep build up (salts) lower. So less leeching will be required!
