Man those pictures are PERFECT bro! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I totally get it about not moving down in piping size and then going back up too. I just think using 1" PVC from Rez to pump then shorty after would be easier in my case rather than using 1.5" for the short length as you have.View attachment 3667536 Need filters( I keep extras soaking, change daily. Soft tip toothbrush help remove grime)
I dump to waist but could add these on return line to pump if recirculating.
Can you show a pic of how the Poly lines link to the PVC in your system? Is there multiple poly lines hooking to the PVC which is what I assume or is it all circulated? My guess is you run a line for each row and plug or crimp each end?
Also do you think using 1" PVC for all PVC portions would be ok?
thats a pretty sweet set up. Looks like he has no gph dripers so he uses the valve to controle the pressure thru the spaghetti lines.Man those pictures are PERFECT bro! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I couldn't visualize how you were transferring from PVC to the Poly but now I get it. What size is that Poly linking to the PVC? And do you plug that Poly line at the end of wherever it is or does it circulate to a T?
I had initially planned to run a manifold as pictured, (stolen off YouTube). Not exactly like his which feeds a long line from wall to each site, but rather 4-5 lines from the wall (3/8 or 1/2) that would run in between rows and feed 1/4's to each site.

What I do like most about this style of manifold is that the PVC portion pictured dumps any excess pressure back into the Rez and you can put a valve on it to close it or open as needed. Do you see any benefit in that?
I found a 1/2 HP pump basically exactly what you have cut in half for like $38. Would def be enough for my plans.

How often would you say the Drippers clog? And are the two filters pictured the only ones you use? I had planned to use one of those style in PVC and also one in each main poly lines that runs from the PVC, overkill?thats a pretty sweet set up. I use 3/4 poly tubing
Tap thru the bottom, it's the best route I feel since it allows all water to be used. I put my 55 gal veg res on 3 bricks and have it tapped thru the bottom. Pics laterOh yea, how much of a bitch would it be to tap into the bottom of a standard blue 55 gal for that PVC outlet to pump? I'm debating whether it's worth it to plumb for Rez/Pump to be out of the room. But if they are out of the room I have no choice but to not tap into bottom of 55gal and instead run PVC in thru the lid and down to the bottom. Then that makes me think of perhaps a submersible pump, know what I mean?... Any thoughts?
I'm the type who has to have everything as planned out as possible if you can't tell...
Stay away from organically, mainly synthetics. I use bud blood and Bud igniter and they can clog. The key is pressure and the filters. I feel their is no overkill on the filtersHow often would you say the Drippers clog? And are the two filters pictured the only ones you use? I edited cause I remembered you said not to worry about lines being same length...

I figured out in researching the Black Holes why it is you have that weird clear tubing over lapping the feed lines going into the Black Holes seen in your pictures. It's a bitch to find good black 1/4 ID tubing. Very easy to find that clear crap and use it as an overlap of standard 1/4 OD feed line.Don't forget the anti flo valves( not sure of technical name but stops water flo

Here's my plan after countless hours or research and thought. 1500 GPH Ecoplus Submersible pump sitting inside 55 gal drum to 1" Poly up and out. T just above the lid, 3" piece of same 1" Poly on both sides of T followed by a ball valve on both sides. One side then 90's after its ball valve and dumps back into Rez (don't know if I'll need it but I want to plan for it). Other side will run over and 90 down to floor. Then 90 through a wall into the room. Decided to keep Rez out of room for multiple reasons. Anyway from there we reduce to 3/4 Poly and then almost immediately 4-Way into the main manifold which will surround the plants as illustrated in my terrible diagram below. To each site 6gph Netafim emitter to 1/4 OD (standard feed line) then to Black Holes, of course with same 1/4 ID (3/8 OD) overlapping as you have. 42 sites, 6 x 7 rows. All connections will be tightened down with the little metal tighteners or zip ties. 1" line will have a Y Filter just after ball valve. 3/4 line will have 3 inline filters immediately after the. Let me know what you think. Here's my terrible diagram!

That's a dope ass set up you guys have going there broTop drip. We use hydroton as our medium.
Can be run recycled, returned to alt tank or drain to waist.

What size water pump do you have to run to get that bad boy flowing?
