outdoor plants LOVE LOVE grassclipping in the mix, and the slowest release forms of nitrogen.
Actually as much as I hate to use it, bloodmeal has a good use in outdoor plants.
Outdoor plants will use up almost all the nitrogen quickly outside, well to a degree obviously.
but almost always the limiting macro outside is nitrogen, followed by calcium.
i'd go with fish meal, that bio live, some grass clipping, and maybe a lil added alfalfa too.
If you have bloodmeal that's good too
remember to couple the fast release with the medium, along with the slow release forms of nitrogen (applies to all nutrients really, especially outside in a long season with LOTS of photosynthesis)
