The fact that you bring up an abortion before 3 weeks pregnant shows your ignorance in itself. How exactly would one know they are pregnant before a missed period? If one is getting an abortion they obviously aren't looking to get pregnant, so they surely wouldn't be testing for pregnancy before a month of elapsed time.

Every pro-lifer has different views of the morning after pill, as the stage of implantation hasn't been reached yet.

I guess because it's no longer within her body.Whatever is inside a woman's body is under her jurisdiction.I cannot tell someone else what to do with something in her body.And I don't want anyone else to tell me what to do with mine.Now, if it's late term,might as well go ahead and have it...IMO.Many women, when they feel the baby move, are hooked.Pregnancy and labor take a big toll on the female body.I haven't been right since the birth of my second, which was an unexpected pregnancy I CHOSE to keep.Lot of pro lifers say Adoption, adoption.....but they never think that maybe the woman doesn't want to give birth at all.Women are more than just baby carriers.When the baby is born, it then qualifies as an individual.

Don't lump all pro-lifers into one category, I agree with none of the other things you mentioned Med.


Of course the baby is not literally thinking in the womb as you and I would define the word 'think'- the child have no preconceived notions, no social reality programming yet- as it has not been exposed to any of those yet. The brain is active though- that is known. You conscious has many levels- as it is functioning while you are not 'literally thinking'. Anyone who has not been exposed to the words to express those ideas cannot possible think "oh I hope they don't kill me"- how is that a relevant argument as to the definition of life?

The rape issue is always brought up by people pro-abortion, and honestly I think that there are very few people who take a stance on that issue at all- it is a very rare circumstance, and out of the 150 million plus abortions, I doubt there were more than 3,000 that were because of rape.
