I wait at least three days and touch the bottom of the pot to see if it's wet but since I have those pebbles the soil still feels moist when I dip my finger so I just wait at least 3-4 daysAre you allowing the medium to dry out before you water each time?
Frequency of watering is what is important when taking care not to over water.
Because some people are scared to dream big okay? I'll do it another year.hate to post a question . when your asking a question . if your out side why don't you put those in a 25 or bigger pot ? so you can get some serious yield .
Dipping your finger is one way to do it but try this...I wait at least three days and touch the bottom of the pot to see if it's wet but since I have those pebbles the soil still feels moist when I dip my finger so I just wait at least 3-4 days

Right after watering you pot pick it up. Feel how heavy it is?
Don't water again until at least 75% of that weight is gone and your pot feels light again.
It might take a time or two to get used to it but it has proven to be a far more effective way of determine if I should water again or not. I haven't over-watered once this entire grow and my plants now drink a couple of gallons of water between them every two days.
