Even Saunders knew it was a smoke and mirrors campaign. He wanted to get out of that question period...bad!!!

54 complaints of dispensaries causing 10k+ patients no access to meds just saying sign up with health canada but that program is illegal too.

Dumb fucks, saying they dont know how much THC but being told well LPs get tested and the result is never the same.

Il be at Lift doing my own thing but the LPs wont get a minute of my time.

You are talking about Canada right ???

Guess what - we will not be getting any say. Have you heard of bill blair ? He has said we have no say, were have you been ???
We will be treated as the problem and to listen to anyone from the MMJ or CC side would be counter productive. They have -cops / politicians / mental health workers / HC quacks, that are called on for advice. Our input is neither required nor warranted as they have told us that over and over again.
Correct. Moronic pot heads will not have any say. Especially those who say they can drive while impaired or that pot/alcohol does not impair their ability to drive. Shit like that needs to shut the fuck down immediately.

But clear-minded, articulate and responsible citizens absolutely will have a say and already are having a say. There are plenty of doctors, lawyers, judges, CEO's, cops, firemen, mayors, MLAs, MPs and so on that want medical marijuana and rec weed and who will be called upon for advice when required.

All this hate for Bill Blair... He is not the guy who will make the laws. It's like nobody understands that he is just a stooge who is being used as a spokes-person by the Libs to protect against PC and other public criticism. It's a political move. And while he may have some good insight from a front-line policing point of view, HE IS JUST ONE VOICE who may or may not influence how legalization will be legislated. He is just a convenient face/voice, for now... a hard-ass for appearances.

He is no longer a cop. He fucked is own career by being hard-ass. Now he is just a "consultant" with no authority... so people need to stop blaming him for stupid shit. He is irrelevant.

Who is relevant are the money men that are going to take over this industry. They will dictate the laws. But people can have a good deal of input if that input is logical, reasonable... not juvenile bullshit...

I don't drink and drive, I don't text and drive, and I don't smoke and drive....I will smoke before I drive. That's not stupid....If I'm focusing on how much pain I have I can't focus on driving. The odd time I do get "high" I don't drive.
If you're in so much pain that you need to smoke then you shouldn't be driving.

Both the weed and the pain are impairments on their own. Combine them and they are doubly so.

I am also against driving while on prescription meds. I knew a woman who dropped so many pills in the morning she didn't know her own face in the mirror...and she would then driver her kids to school. Not surprisingly... one of her kids is dead now, from a car accident she caused. Ran a red light...

Every heard of someone being charged with impaired from prescription meds? I haven't. Why is that I wonder? Why is there no road side oxy testers? I know there are thousands of people driving around right now on opiates but no one seems too concerned about it?

I don't know in what context this link was posted...if it is considered an argument for our side or the other...???

What I do know is that John Fowler is no friend to the people in the forum who worry about the corporate takeover of this industry. HE IS THE FACE of the corporate takeover. His point that raids like yesterday will only drive the market underground is a fact, but it is one that serves his purpose, not ours. The disclaimer at the bottom of this article declares exactly that:

"John Fowler, JD is the CEO of Supreme Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Canadian publicly traded company focused on developing innovative cannabis businesses in Canada including AMMCan, Canada’s first B2B supplier of legal medical cannabis, sustainably produced in the company’s 7 Acre hybrid greenhouse. Supreme’s shares are traded under the symbol “SL” on the Canadian Securities Exchange."

He has a vested interest in legalization and is a lobbyist for the corporate side. He won't be doing us any favours. he will exploit us.

This is a discussion that is only now just starting. Much too late for many...

And I suspect the discussion will eventually lead to a connection between health records and driver's licenses... in the same way that a driver license must declare that you require glasses to drive legally, or are a diabetic or a firearm owner... they will likely make a law that requires licenses to declare what medications have been prescribed to a driver...

You're right, its ridiculous...even though those prescription meds are far more potent (and deadly) than MMJ... they come with the little sticker that says "caution: be sure you know how this medication affects you before driving or operating heavy machinery". I guess if one feels you can pound back a few Oxy's and drive...you're all good!

So by this line of reasoning, only doctors, lawyers, judges etc are considered 'clear-minded, articulate, responsible citizens'? Your comments here seem to be nothing but virtue signalling, and you have a serious misunderstanding of both the role of a parliamentary secretary and the leader of a task force. He will absolutely influence the legalization framework, and you are seriously fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

The 'good people' have already been shown and told their input is neither requested nor required. But please, tell us more about how juvenile the cannabis community is and how it's up to the mature folks like yourself to save us from ourselves.

I belive i mentioned his insight to law enforcement...

I believe i also said "he may or may not influence..."

Put the two together and... well..... make what you want of that...

As for my responsible citizens comment... i did not mean to imply that you must be one of those listed to be responsible... pardon me... but as everybody knows responsible citizens who do not have professional credentials have been voiceless and ignored for centuries...aeons.. and i dont see that changing anytime soon..
