How high are you, really low?

LOL yoga pants leave a bad taste in my mouth :) honestly I'm not that coordinated and I've already been dropped on my head.
some level of fitness is needed, but not very much tbh. basically it ends up being an assist prop, for many stretches (not just inversion). it enables me to do some exercises, that would be much more challenging without the prop. it's not advanced, really more of a crutch. the fabric ribbons cinch around you and hold you tightly in place safely. it just looks more dangerous than it is.

That's the limitation right there, that movement is for strength building (very important), not healing and relaxed decompression.

healing and relaxed decompression.
It's amazing how removing the gravity of most of your body weight helps (as a sling), even if it's not inverted- just cradling. this is how i start and finish, gentle healing poses.

beyond that, you're right, the hammock can become vigorous. it takes an effort to stay in slack mode, but it can be done by only utilizing a few positions. it has 6 handles to stabilize. sorry, not trying to sell you on this, I just think these are somewhat new to most ppl. not recc for serious injuries no doubt

5' 6" here.

Most people tend to judge other people (mostly strangers, I guess) based on their height. Sometimes I wonder why that is, and why the opinion tends to go away when you get to know someone you didn't know before.

I suppose, too, that the internet alters this perception of first impressions.
6 foooot tall and rising oO'

Actually good point, never really saw the judgment in peps sizes. fat yes, but tall, idk i guess "look at that lanky fuck" is judge or just being a dick.

Basketballers get good press ... just saying for all those tall fuckers that feel :(

Abe I agree with you, you're preaching to the choir. There are huge benefits to that. Best of all if can do that, and do do that you will probably never need an inversion table. But let's think about a 70 year old sedentary female with some osteoporosis... That's all I'm saying, your technique is for someone with better spinal health and no contraindications.

Inversion tables are a terrific investment. I've known a couple friends who have managed to save themselves spinal surgery by using them for 10-15 minutes twice a day. Coincidentally both were internists, interesting.
After my surgeries (gut) my posture has suffered more. Outside of that, I used to train at a near pro level, just don't have it in me anymore to do anything related to that (and the entire industry). I'm looking for all that is gentle nowadays.
