It's amazing how removing the gravity of most of your body weight helps (as a sling), even if it's not inverted- just cradling. this is how i start and finish, gentle healing poses.

beyond that, you're right, the
hammock can become vigorous. it takes an effort to stay in slack mode, but it can be done by only utilizing a few positions. it has 6 handles to stabilize. sorry, not trying to sell you on this, I just think these are somewhat new to most ppl. not recc for serious injuries no doubt
