First grow - 600w hps

Hi, I'm little green dude.
Just got my med card and I'm starting up my first grow.

Presoaked 13 seeds of various strains in cups of water, then into soil when they sank. 10 have popped.

Btw, I know 600w won't cut it for all these, plan on adding a 300w led during main flowering unless I lose a few more little ones. Also, Any males will go in my outdoor cage for pollen harvesting.

How are my babies looking? Any suggestions? They aren't looking 100% thoughts?

Well. You started your regs and autos at the same time and they require different lighting schedules. You probably want to start flowering when your regs get about 12" tall assuming you havecsome headroom to grow and just let the autos join the ride or get a tent and anther setup for the autos

Yeah I am planning on vegging the regs till first autos are done (55days or so) then Make a few clones of my well vegged regs and go to flower. Ill be taking a bit of a smaller yield on my auto lemon hazes on 12/12 for the last few weeks, but I really don't mind. I'll have more bud than I need lol

I would strongly advice getting a t5,this will save you money in the long run but do the same job,a 6 tube one or 4 ,all my hps lights are used for is flowering,Has soon has you can get a clone from the regular clone them,leave them for about 4/5 days after clones have been took ,then put them on 12/12 off this will give you sex in 12/14 days,while your still vegging the others.Keep topping the regular seed strains every time you can,this will give you far more tops and increase the yeild .Great to see someone that is doing a reg grow nice one ,you might even be able to cross a couple if you wanted.

Yeah, pretty much any male I get I'll be putting outside in a separate cage with hopes of harvesting and storing pollen to breed with in future grows.

First never call them fellas-( bad karma). You should separate the two in one pot or roots will be tangled, if you SOG or SCROG you can run all those under a 600w. Good luck

Yeah, one seed never sank so I threw another in not expecting both to go lol

I'll get one moved soon.

That light is way overkill for seedlings/sprouts/clones. A t5 or t8 would be ideal.

Just can't budget another light in right now. I have it at 50% power and a decent distance away. Just gotta make due.

Only goes down to 50% I've seen a lot of other grows work out okay with these conditions. Hoping for the best lol

Stretching and burning of the seedlings will be your 2 battles.

Definitely seeing some stretching. I'll try to cautiously lower the light, and throw a fan on the girls.

Lol. Don't ever buy into that bullshit about seeds sinking etc. I wouldn't just skip that whole step and plant into the medium you are using from the start

It's fine. But you need to hook up a fan and ducting to that cool tube. Then you'll be able to get it much closer.

seeds do sink though. Best method for germinating is to use both the paper towel and cup of water method. I just had 5/5 seeds germ the other day doing this.
