My best friend has asthma and is a starting cornerback as well as wide receiver for his varsity high school. He plays baseball as well. And he has an inhaler.

So what is your point?

My point is pretty obvious. My friend has asthma that disqualifies him from service but he can still plays physical sports.

McCain says we need to stay in Iraq for 100 more years.

Palin claims that we are "almost" victorious.

I don't believe that 100 more years could be called a victory.

Does the right mouth not know what the left mouth is saying?

Well folks, what we saw in Sarah Palin last night was a bonified republican wonk. She is the perfect storm for a John McSame failure. I am so so glad he picked her. She is definently more of the same, just like her boss. Oh yeah, she talks about a new energy policy but be sure it will be approved by Big Oil, Big Energy and Big Corps. She is the rich mans poster child. If you want to see what I have grown to dislike, all you had to do was look at the crowd in the repuke convention. The owners of our society. They were all there, the oil men from Texas, the big business owners from all over, People born to success. They are the people that skim the cream off the top and leave the crap on the bottom for the rest of us.

We still occupy Germany and Japan and victory was declared in 1945 in both cases.

A keen observation. Both sides talking past each other. It amazes me that the partisians are only willing to lay blame at the feet of the opposing party. It seems to me that both parties are responsible.

I live in IL, they're are closing state parks and cutting way back on servies for the poor right and left. Meanwhile the governers mansion is located in Springfield, but the governer insists on living in Chicago and being flown back and forth.

With fuel prices the way they are, no wonder we're cutting services to pay for the commute of 1 asshole who's plane I wish would hurry up and crash.

I wish I had a dollar figure on the amount spent on fuel for that. I bet it's fucking amazing. Should't he drive and pay for his gas out of his own paycheck like the rest of us?

Oh yeah on a side note, even though the asshole doesn't and refuses to live in the governers mansion, they still spent a shitload of money putting in a driveway that heats up so they don't have to plow snow. DOH!!!

I think it is amazing how many people like to complain about our elected officials.....

Why are they in office? hmmmmmm, maybe, cause we voted them in???? Why not cast some blame on ourselves??? Nope, that would not be acceptable. That is the problem with this country, no accountability.

I think if we have the choice of
"none of these candidates"

maybe a lot of these assholes wouldn't be where they are today, but when you choices are corrupt and corrupt then what you end up with is corrupt.
