Plants Can't Handle ANY Nutrients? Wtf! Will I still Get decent buds?

Yeah, so oddly enough my smaller plants seem to love FF trio nutes at 1/3rd strength, whereas my big plants are now showing nutrient burns from the smallest amount. I didn't even feed them that much, AND i haven't fed them in over 2 weeks

Doesn't make a lot of sense. Advice? I'm just gona stop feeding them altogether. Apparently fox farms ocean forest has enough nutes by itself to grow huge plants without anything else.

They are autoflower so maybe that has something to do with it?

I have flushed the ones that are burned, but will they continue to grow their buds normally or will it create issues? It's only on a few leaves.

about 2 1/2 weeks into flower. Need about another month.

The plants need nutrients mate. It's like can you survive without food? Yeah probably for 40 days but eventually you need food. And yes the bud production could be compromised Gonna need some pics.

According to the auto fellows they're light feeders in general. And my experience with them is the same.
And some strains are just light feeders period. There's also lighter feeding phenos in the same strain.
I got a nice tough little pheno out of sugar candy that's compact, little stretch, and is an ultra light feeder.
Much different than her sisters. Light feeders as well but nowhere near that level.

Sorry I'm out of town, but basically little brown spots on the leaves about a day after feeding. Oddly enough my smaller dinafem critical has 0 issues, whereas this huge 2 foot tall plant is hating the nutes. Same pot, same soil, almost same amount of food.

I really don't think so. It popped up within 18 hours of feeding. There were no spots prior.
Going off those pics, there are no burnt tips, could be a ph fluctuation if it cam on so soon after a feed
It was the shine on the leaves that made me think P. That could be misleading, but still the tips themselves look good.

Maybe. I really don't know what to do about it aside from flushing which I've already done. Just hope it doesn't get worse

Nothing worth worrying over, a couple spots are a couple spots
Ughhh, now it's like 5 leaves that have spots and are cracking and breaking. How the fuck can a plant 1/10th of its size handle the nutes just fine, but this one looks like it's gona die in a week? I flushed her TWICE and it's just getting worse.

Ffs.

If this plant survives It's getting nothing but water for the rest of its life

Ok here is what I do when I see funky leaves. Cut them off at the stalk or were they meet another branch. Go easier on the nutes. Cutting should stimulate new growth. I have only had 3 harvests. So I consider myself still new. I got rid of powder mold that way. There is the other side as well. The plant might be eating the leaves to get more nutes.

i would say 90% sure that plant is under fed not over.

nute burn is almost a myth on these forums, i see many more people worried about over-ferting their plants suffering problems than those who dump all kinds into the feed and don't necessarily worry.

generally the plant will take what it wants and leave the rest.

Naw. It happened within a day of feeding. I will let it go and cut em off if it gets any worse

Again, happened within 1 day of feeding. Plant looked perfect prior to feeding. Not a single issue

I like that way of thinking. After all we aren't pushing food into the plant. We are adding it to a medium the plant drinks from. Very well put.

That is not nutrient burn.

And FFOF does not have enough nutrients to last throughout. I do hydro, but a friend who was running that was getting deficiencies in 2-3 weeks.

i'm not saying that the plant has not reacted to the adding of fertiliser but just what i generally see when people say they have problems with over feeding.

the problem could have started before you fed them and came to light within the time frame after you fed them, then going back to not feeding them is making it even worse.

another thing i notice is the damaged leaves are pretty low down on the plant which means they are not as effective in doing their job as the upper leaves. old leaves die, it happens all the time, the new growth is normally what you look to in determining how healthy a plant is growing.

I don't think bite burn is a myth (especially with synthetic nutes ) but I do think that it.is not the op's problem. I think it.is more of a ph issue, than a nute burn.
Check the ph going in and out and report back to us.

PS ime, flushing straight ffof doesn't do much unless your trying to balance ph. Personally the ffof/ffhf are the only parts of there lineup that really act like organics. When I use ffof I start out at 50/50 cut with pro mix then I transplant to straight ffof then my final transplant would be an amended ffof that is stronger.
I do pretty much the same thing with roots green fields, the 707 is a little light for me nute wise.
