9-10 wks should be good....
you run a good thread
i have a 19+ ft flats type boat..
ohzone would be an end of oct finish
around 45 n lat
I know and that's too late in most years. Hopefully it's got some bud rot resistance or it'll be coming down early. I used to grow blueberry exclusively and it was always rotting on us but even then some plants thrived, seemed to depend on bud structure, but mostly weather.

I love that style of boat but my lake is 20 miles long and it's a tough choice as to the perfect boat. I do a lot of duck hunting as well and have a 15 smoker craft with a 15 but trying to find a good used 25-35 for it. The deck boat is kind of the best of both worlds as it allows for a great touring boat like a pontoon but with the ability to go 35 mph and also is a pleasure to fish as it draws only about 10", has two bow seats and two downriggers at the stern. I've spent my life trying to find the "perfect" boat lol.

Same as the avatar, wash out everything except cuddy. Didn't really give it much thought re: finish time but if I have to pull a bit early I can live with that. I typically pull before most with still a few clear triches. I took the first run at 8 weeks and it was not that different from 10 weeks that I could tell. Thanks OMS!

looks good but essentially mid oct to hallow'een finish..
if you get decent enough bud maybe you can pull early
but we all know hallow'een finish is possible as long as not moulding

thats when the og finished for me up here

and you have done a decent journal job!

light dep will work well..but it takes work and stealth..and you must continue it generally into september
So I assume we are pretty close re hours of light in a day to me so was wondering, have you grown OZ outside? There is no way I can leave this until mid October to finish unless it's a really warm and dry fall, :(. Just curious about rot and if this strain is more or less prone to it?

It's more the not getting a chance to dry out through out the day I have have found not the cold as such your right. I've done large number fields back in the day and lost half of them due to bud worms and rot. It was blueberry for the most part that had a big issue, but everyone wanted it lol. I'm just trying to keep these girls watered right now, tourists have come back :(, it's hard to be stealthy with the professional walkers all around trespassing on my "oh what a lovely forest you have" land :(.

the [orange] cola stalkworms..i hate those suckers..
they are pupae from a tiny whitish moth..
yes in fall we have 100% RH most of the day and all night..
the "death fog" comes and acts like a petrie dish for grey mold/Bot
out door can be a rough row to hoe..then there is the two legged factor

Yup their a bitch, the two legged bastards I mean but ya the worms too lol. I used to plant in a big swamp which was great throughout summer due to the clouds of bugs but come duck hunting it's a scary time lol. I cut my teeth on gorilla grows and finally got to old, to stressful and way to much work lol. I'm finding 20 to be a bitch to take proper care of stealthily, going through 200 litres of water a week due to dry weather :(

well said Budley..we seem to have parallel stories..[your boat was nicer though..]

i wrote a song called "games in the swamp" three decades ago

magnesium eyes flare after dark
circuits are filled electricity arc's
pulse is pounding
the moon says its time
pray for protection
... avoid detection

oh oh oh playing games in the swamp
oh oh oh do you ever get that feeling
oh oh of playing games in the swamp
oh oh oh you must never be revealing

gotta move slow you know
its armadillo frequency
even the man in the moon
is sworn to secrecy
gotta be cool
must all be in place
gotta make things for the human race

oh oh oh playing games in the swamp
oh oh oh do you ever get thatfeeling
oh oh of playing games in the swamp
oh oh oh you must never be revealing

and out in this place we can see what we want to see
there are things that set you free out here in the dark and in the day
things thyat would not live if the wrong people saw their face they say:
"we have found a resting place with ones like you and like me"
