Yea. I'm still debating on what LED to get for flower. I got a 9x5 gorilla tent and was thinking Amare, but I know they have a new light coming out soon
Yes they do. I believe they will have a few new lights this year.Yea. I'm still debating on what LED to get for flower. I got a 9x5 gorilla tent and was thinking Amare, but I know they have a new light coming out soon
You are on a much larger scale the I am but I can say from my limited experience with Amare that I wouldnt go elsewhere. I'm running 3 se-450's and so far my plant size is scary. The other factor when buying is being sure the company will stand behind you if there is ever a problem which can always happen. All Amare owners will say they feel they are in good hands. A little personal info on my order, I offered him more money to get my shipment out faster by sending it in multiple packages and he denied the money but next day I had a shipping notification.Hello everybody!
I am in the process of planning a 24kW flower room with Gavita 1k DE e-series pro lighting. But, I just discovered Amare tech and the new Pro 9, and I want to determine if these lights are truly ready for commercial growing? I have spoken to Victor a bit about the Pro 9, and I have discovered that it is intended to cover a 5' X 5' area, and runs about 900 watts. Now I wouldn't be gaining much efficiency per lamp over the Gavita, but I could cover my room with 21 lights, bringing it down to 18.9 kW. That also reduces my cooling demand by 33%.
The Pro 9 also appears to have higher and more uniform PAR readings across the area it covers, which should really help in penetration of a dense canopy.
So, my question is this:
If you were building a commercial flower room, and you could purchase either Gavita or Amare Tech Pro 9's to light it would you make the leap and go with the Pro 9? I don't think anyone is using the Pro 9 for commercial applications yet, so commiting that kind of capital to them is kind of scary!
I would love to hear your thoughts.
I grow semi-commercial for 2 yrs now, so you came to the right place. Busy right now but I'll get back to you tonight.Hello everybody!

I would run the Pro-9's. My buddy has an awesome opp I call Gavitaville. I use air-cooled HPS hoods cuz I don't have the ceiling hight. Did this thread to determine which LED I'd be using to light a 12'x14' space rather then HPS. So, I'll be running 1 decent sized room for each. I've concluded I will be using Amare's. I tried 3 different lights & have done tons of research. Heard to many horror stories & now get it from my experience with the Hydroponics Hut company. Whom BTW claim to be Proffesional/Commercial use lights. NOT!Hello everybody!

I just happening to be scrolling through shit for gavita info and came across the gavitaville LOL i like that.I would run the Pro-9's. My buddy has an awesome opp I call Gavitaville. With Amare though Offering a five year full warranty & being a company happy to accomadate, it makes it allot easier when buying something that has multiple running components I think.
Yes, you stand to use allot less electricity as I believe 1, Pro-9 exceeds 1, Gavita side by side by quite a bit. So, If you exchanged 1/1 then you'd be substantially increasing your harvest yeild & still be cutting cooling cost by 5/8 if I had to guess seeing how Gavitas normally are not ducted out & the Pro-9 is in this case.
The Pro-9 is the only commercial made led fixture I'd consider & would choose it over any other light source at the moment. Wish I had the ceiling height. Instead I'm getting the Pro-4's.
Don't know if you intended on going all in at once but if not then it wouldn't hurt to get yourself 2 of each & do yourself a side by side for just one grow so you will sleep better at night knowing you took the proper precautions before buying all of either. I say this because it is detrimental to have the fixture that will yeild the most. If not then you now will lose how ever many thousands every harvest as nice as it may seem. Once you see for yourself the result differences between the two, in your own hands, then you'll be 100% happy with your decision whatever it may be, with no questions.
Good luck!
Stay tuned here & I'll be getting a few more Amare's up soon to share my experience & results with others. I'm really impressed with Amare & happy with their service.
Depends........I'm not sure but I do think the Cree 3590 is the most efficient light going right? I shoulda tried the pro9 when I had the chance.
Welp, would think Amare would want my $3k a little bit more... been trying to get my order going since Friday afternoon. Sent another email early this morning.
If I don't hear back by tomorrow night someone else is getting my money (regrettably)
Something must be wrong. Victor replies to me within hours if not minutes. Always on his shit and treats everyone like a king.Welp, would think Amare would want my $3k a little bit more... been trying to get my order going since Friday afternoon. Sent another email early this morning.

This is an Amare thread so you sir should piss off nevermind give false advertisement. 25% off this month puts your 6 plane Jane cobs higher than the 6 Amare without the monos, uv and with a 2 year longer warranty. but as far as a warranty goes you won't need it, these are professionally built not some dudes garage.keep in mind if this is what it takes to make an order. How will the customer service be down the line if something goes wrong.
pacific light concepts is a much better option. Great customer service.

The cobs that are held in by the threadedLmao
I used to be a tester for amare. so what false advertising. Have you even taken one apart. they're poorly constructed. the cobs aren't even mounted. They just rest on a ring shaped piece of plastic. The fans are louder than my exhaust fan.
this isn't your thread either
