Pruning in Flower Cycle

Your wrong! Absolutely positively wrong. Plants transition between veg and flower whether you know this or not and feeding should be backed off some at this time before increasing pk. Flip, then week trans, then flower. Im week 4 flower, the first week flowers grow barely at all because the plant puts it energy into stretching to increase bud sites. People that do things to stop or drastically reduce stretching are idiots. You figure out how much room you have for total growth, you figure out how much your strain grows during flower and you flip at the proper hieght so you can maximize yield without pla.ts growing into the lights. Indicas x 1.5 durring flower, hybrids x 2, and sativas x 2.5. This doesnt stand true for every strain but most it does. In rare cases some sativas can even triple in height durring flower. Yeah, im an idiot. I rarely see plants lije mine on here. People talk like they can do it, if you could you would be doing it. You not knowing about transition proves along with the others you know that you just dont know what you think you know. You feel threatened when someone knows something you dont. This is why you jokers attack, you dont have the mental capacity to have debates without insulting people. Your the joke and the idiot! You wouldnt say it to my face you troll I guarantee it! My information on veg, trans, and flower was identified by N.A.S.A. scientists. I suppose there idiots too. Look at any GH feeding program, week 4 TRANSITION! I suppose even though they work with N.A.S.A they dont know anything either. Take your insults and shove them up your ass! Your a tough guy, you can talk shit online. Ooooh, I shiver! Smoke a little less and learn something.
one indoor grow and your offering advice? And as I said, if it was better than all of your "can't count em" outdoor ones then your outdoor grows sucked I would guess.

Quit bumping fuzz bunnies! Lol. I tell you this I got more than a pound off of a 6' plant and didnt need anywhere near a 120gal container to do it. I have a feeling there are some teenagers on here, I believe I had a run in with one my first day on this forum.

No, it's not his advice. It's how he's been going around these forums the past couple of days.

It's like when people go around saying how bad America is, yet they are standing on American soil. If you hate my country so much, then by all means, go back to your shitty country! My point is, if he think RIU is a joke he can always log the fuck out.

Im doing DWC no top feed for the first time. This is day 4 since transplant into hydroton and there are no roots yet, how long does it normally take. My plants were nice and dark green when they were in the Jiffy Peat under 125w cfl, but now that they been in DWC for 4 days under 1000w mh for 18/6 they are begining to slightly yellow. Well maybe not yellow but they definitely are not dark green like they were. I couldn't find a definitive answer when I transplanted so I added 2.5ml of Micro, Grow, and Bloom per gallon, I keep the solution at 6.0 and just touching the bottom of the baskets. I had to re-ph the first two nights but these last two the ph has stayed at 6.0. Tonight I removed a half gal of nutes and replaced with ph water. Ph still stayed at 6.0. Is this all normal and shouldnt I atleast see root tips by now? From what I understand this method is supposed to cause explosions of growth. Im using a EcoPlus2 pump and 4" air stone for each 5 gal bucket and I am unable to keep solution temp under 80f so I ordered Hydroguard to inoculate solution. Was it a mistake adding nutes to water at the time of transplant?

You're right it's everyone else that thinks they know it all. I can't tell how many threads that are years old I've bumped just to add my wisdom. I mean if the threads are years old it must be info people be desperate to find right? Give it a rest dude. Ever heard the expression people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones? I know you would you know better, you wouldn't want glass all over the 30ft trees you're growing in there. Unless scotty reals said you'd get more uv without the glass, then fuck it break em all.
Decades of experience, professional growers on speed dial, and you have to ask how long does it take for roots to grow out of a net pot. You sound desperate to be accepted and/or acknowledged.

Since im new to this im thinking of starting with GH Flora Series Performance Pack. Is this enough to get through a 2.5-3 month grow with 3 plants and are these nutrients the lowest quailty, most basic regime for hydro grows like most of the pro's suggest?
Nah man he got his nutrient regime from NASA and GH research remember...

So he was growing 3 plants... So far we've only seen the 1 plant, where's the other 2?

Offering experiences is fine but offering advice and getting pissed if it is not takin seriously is pathetic. After one grow (hydro) you do not offer advice you ask for it lol. This whole thread started as another defoilation thread which in this context is indoor, after one grow how could someone even think about getting involved other than to ask for advice.

Has our conversation offended you?

That plant yielded a little over 700g and could have gone longer if we had a bigger greenhouse to block the rain, it has never in its life seen more then 13 hrs of light not even in the 10 week of veg time. i didn't say it was a pound and too bad i donr care about yield however i just wanted to see if you were experienced enough to call it seeing you claim 2lbs dry from what? 23 pencil branch tops on a 3x4x4 plant? Really? Thats like 80+ grams wet a cola! Shit be leaning hard and snapping without stringing them pencil colas up.

You didn't need a 120g to do it? Shit we didnt spend a penny on electricity/water and that was a very inexperienced grow with two topped stalks the size of a baseball bat.

Just show us a nug shot already! Who makes such claims with no stored history? How can you act and/or stand professional with just words that dont match the picture? Your just about the only one here who doesn't want to back up your football bud claims? Show us those zip + colas? Must look like footballs before they even swell up i bet right?

Just the fact that you bring up "lst/topping/supercropping/lollipopping" like its some kind of special ultimate grow method that nobody knows about? Shit i learned about that in my first month growing and i couldnt help but fuck with every plant after that and guess what? Too much topping can actually go against itself with certain strains! You'll learn that one day if you haven't already.

So you got over a pound with your 6ft plant but got 2 lbs with your 4x3x4 plant?

Just because im new to DWC does not mean im new to growing indoor or out. I have years of experience with more than just pot. Cannabis is a weed, period, its simple to grow. For years I have been growing species of trees and shrubs from all over the world. I have had the luxury or working on famous plants that are priceless and have been tought by world famous horticturalist and bonsai artist such as Ryan Neil, Bjorn Bjornholm, Marco Invernizzi, Marc Nolanders, ect...Try your hand at bonsai and see how many trees you kill. Ive been doing for years, and I grow exotic trees and shrubs for lanscape, and exotic hot peppers. So dont for a minute try to make me out as some beginner thats never grown anything before. Cannabis is just a weed, take away its healing and psychoactive properties and its just another weed. Very easy to grow, very hard to kill if you have even a slightest talent at growing. I learn rapidly, always have. Always tought myself how to do most things and do them well. Im not affraid to ask people advice that know moee than I do. I comment on old threads to add information. I dont seek out old thread like some moron. When you google things all these threads come up. Dont you know that? And im not really entirely new to DWC because I have used it as a propagation technique for a long time. It really takes someone that has nothing better to do than to go back into threads I have commented on to try and prove some point that litterally means nothing. I have been growing plants indoors for many years and have more experience than with just pot. I commented on this thread because it is most certainly benneficial to remove large fan leaves in flower. It increases air and light to bud sites, it reverts more energy to buds than wasting a bunch of energy on large fan leaves that really arent needed anyway at thos point and more light and airflow reduces diseases such as powdery mildew and harboring of insects. Given all this I still dont do it to every plant I grow. There is also no such thing as topping to much. You can mainline to infinity if you desire if you know what your doing. But to start attacking people, throwing insults, name calling, just because you dont agree with what someone says is childish and immature and people that do it should be banned from forums where people try to come and learn. There are few choice people that think they own each forum and no one is allowed to post unless they absolutely agree with your methods and its non sense. Its not me that makes a particular forum ridiculous so if you dont like what I have to say them you leave. Also I am a 100% pure born and raised American and the U.S. is ridiculous and embarassing in many many ways. I trust absolutely no person who's check is signed by the government or affilated with the government in any way. My own Sister has worked for years and is an instructor for Job and Family Services and I dont trust her as far as I can throw her. If you cant comment intelligently then I suggest you keep your comments off of me. Im going speak with the Administators about issuing penalties for insults and inappropriate behavior. Its people that do that crap that cause others to spread negativity about forums. I know many professionals that won't even join a forum because of the non sense and misinformation. Im done with this thread, its a shame a person cant comment on a question or topic without being verbally assulted.

Sorry, I just assumed if you had to ask if your peat pod was raising your PH you didn't know what the fuck you were doing :). And actually it seemed like you were the one that got butt hurt when people disagreed with you, not the other way around .... anywhoo if your not liking the way this place works move on. Perhaps you may also want to relocate your ass to a more respectable and less embarrassing country as well. Jeesh.

Buds are flowers, flowers are sinks, grab any botany book and look it up

I've went through the whole defoliation top every fucking node
50 cola thing. I dont like it, there is a limit to where your plant cant keep up with its demands anymore and its obvious with sativas. Don't tell me i could have gotten less yield when i had to recover for we
eks of topping. That just adds to veg time which really isnt veg time when the plant needs to recover every damn day! Excessive is excessive the end!

What famous plants have you worked on? Were they in movies? You may be the biggest hypocrite ever. How can you not understand the shit you're crying about is what exactly what you're doing. Keep bragging about being a pro grower, who you know, taught by world famous horticturalist and bonsai artists, and don't know what the definition of a weed is. No need to cut off leaves if you have a $500 light thats what scotty says. Go cry to the mods, get the thread locked before making bigger fool of yourself.

Some of you are just plain ignorant and dont understand shit. On the $500 led fixtures, its got nothing to do with the cost. Well it does a little, its because the led fixtures under $500 are garbage. Fine for seedlings but not flower. Im not spending $500-$700 on an led light when HID is $200 and industry standard. 20% of people use led's for a reason. I very much understand horticulture, if I didnt know what I was doing I would have never been allowed to touch trees worth $40,000 a piece and 300 years old passed down generations and been styled by many famous artists. I'll bet everything I own most of you dont even know how to water correctly. You think you do. Go do an apprenticeship to learn bonsai. You'll spend 3 years learning to water and wont be allowed to work on a single tree until you can water correctly. Proper watering is an art in and of itself. Go to Japan to learn bonsai and you'll discover as soon as you arrive you dont know what you think you know about plants. Bonsai artists must have extensive knowledge of horticulture or you cannot apply techniques without killing trees. Also peat moss is very acidic, hense my question about raising hydro water ph. It is a justified and intelligent question. So you didnt know sphagnum moss is acidic? Hmm...

I do but I also know to pre soak them and I know enough to by ph neutral ones, but you must know that.
