Are 5 gallon pots adequate?

What size pots for each of the 4 plants per 1000w light in 30 day veg?

Yea, that's why im keeping it at 16 lights, if not I would've stuck at atleast 30 lights in this house.

I use to run 1 plant per light. I suggest 20-30 gallon pots depending on genetics. Usually got 20-24 oz per light. Some strains only did 12-16 tho but that was rare case. 16-20 is easily realistic. I also suggest scrog em n lollipoping em.

Hopefully your using beneficals.

I use to water my girls n when there that big in a sealed room they drink few gallons day each. I would spend $40 n buy a drip kit. Unless you like spending alot of time watering...

I wish lol... from seed theyll have more vigor but large rooted cuts is another story... really depends on the strain. More strech will be less veg. I did a big bud vomb cross before too, still got that in my garden too. If you inder veg itll only hurt yeild... i use to veg in 5 gallons until they were almost rootbound, 30"x30"x30" then i would transfer into 20 gallon and give 10-14 more days.

If u try to veg for 4-6 weeks youll only pull 12-16oz compared to a 8-10 week veg thatll give you 24oz. But then again i cant remember if i vegged under 600 or 1000w back then. Now i veg under mostly t5.

Your setup will be pretty easy to dial in. Its the strain you have to watch, the fan leaves tell you everything.

With the right strain in the right enviorment i could see a 6-7 week veg possibly pulling that kinda weight but then again its always better to over veg.

I usually went 8-9 weeks to pull 24 oz. And i topped them aggresively n ran into mesh screen with pvc frame. Also another lesson is i only used 48x48" screen. If you did 60x60" youd pull more. I had close to 100 tops each sometimes more. Start shaping immediately and plant your girls super early for next grow. Cant over veg...

I know your just starting this grow and eagar to see some cash but dont take shortcuts like under vegging or quick drying. Itll really hurt you in the end and are two biggest mistakes i see. If anything pull a plant a week or two early if you need the money. N always pay your electric bill first. I dunno what you kwh rate is but when i run 16 lights where i am i avg about $1000 month and thats on the lower end. I pay 11.5 cents per kwh and use close to 9,000 kwh month.

Also i highly suggest drippers. Youll be using 50 gallons of water a day when they get big. If not more with that ac.

I seen some return systems that filter out your ac runoff so you can return to rez but your grows not that big... but big enough lol. I think youll pull 20 at first no questions. Maybe 24.

Also i would setup one single distributor.

I was able to find pics of that bomb cross and other pics. There from my first grow so my technique has changed some. I lolipop a bit more and prune top fan leaves which is another topic all together. Others will disagree with me all day but light hitting the flowers is much better than fan leaves. ANYWAYS...

The taller plant on left is the bomb cross, got it from a friend. It was good smoke but not super dank but yeilds were pretty good. It was not an 8 week strain like he said, more like 10wks. Mine had alot of strech to it...

Theres pics from when i first repotted them and day 30 or 35 of flower.

I really hope you use netting and train them outwards... each square on mines 4".

I got 26 oz from the afghan kush on right in 8 weeks and about 22 from bomb cross on the left. However the bomb was harvested rather early, week 8 it stopped taking up nitrogen and yellowed on me so i pulled it.

You can get away with vegging for 6 weeks or so with a rooted cutting. Just depends. Your enviorment is everything. And your technique. Either way youll do good im sure.

How do you sub in to a thread?

O yeah, if you need some cash you could always sell me one of those ac's lol

Found few more pics, my third grow i think, it didnt do as well... but given all these pics it should give you an idea when you should start flower. There all just prior to flipping lights.

N This was years ago. Since then ive done dwc trees, sog aero, sog tables, now in coco drip with 4 per light.

I would actually love to go back to trees. But the nets were alot of work and it wasnt worth it without em.

Plan on vegging 8 weeks min imo

Ill stop now, im rambling. I could go on n on...
