I have given a tablespoon of molasses every 3-5 days with water. Done it at least 4-5 times now, on top of a 3-4-2 organic veg/fruit/flower food and 0-5-0 bat guano. I have had no issues.

Coconut water and wood ash work. Do I just water/mix into the soil?
Hard wood ash and you only need a very small amount, too much will lock out magnesium. Potassium and magnesium do a delicate dance in your soil too much of one or the other can cause problems. I wouldn't mess with it unless you really know what you're doing. Use the molasses like olive drab green said. If you start off with good soil then you probably won't need it until you transplant or when they start stretching in the flowering phase. Potassium helps moisture exchange between plant cells and translates into stronger stems not larger flowers.

Just 24-48 hours in a tea or even bottled nutes so it won't leech out the nutes in your soil, and to charge up probiotic life in the charcoal. Get the cowboy charcoal and break it up with a hammer if you want to save some $ over biochar
I love having the hardwood charcoal around for wings n burgers but I like the finer grind for gardening. Do you get into breaking the cooking charcoal into bits?

I try to find a good deal on ebay, buy it way ahead of time and charge it for months outdoors in fabric pots.

I normally either throw some wood ash/charcoal on top of the soil or mix it in when first potting. Ive tried an experiment this year and used quiet allot in a layer in the pot. My thinking is that in nature we get layers of charcoal/ash from bushfires and the plant will use what it needs from that layer..see how we go. Please note that i have about 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt in the soil to.
All in a small self watering pot.

Epsom salt works too??

Lol ok of, don't worry about potassium in your store bought mystery soil, testicle here says you are going to be fine all the way through with your 2-4-1.

Because I bet you did a soil analysis right OP...? You didn't just buy a bag at the store and throw it in the pot right?

Whatever better listen to testicle here and go get Ffof or black gold soil tested for potassium before you dare add any molasses or anything.. Lol. What a joke.
dude "a joke" No. A joke would be an idiot know it all exposed while talking out his ass. Im telling you straight up adding K based on the rating of the fertilizer you're using is MISTAKEN. Youre wrong.

I didnt say "dare" anything or even mention molasses. You are confused as fuck.with added hysteria.

"2-4-1". is a rating, not a ratio, asshole you have no way of knowing how it will affect the plant without seeing the precise composition. Combine that with an unknown soil composition. Whats going on? Add K because thats the lowest number? Get the fuck out of here. Your logic fell out of your ass. Your rationale for applying K is because the fert rating is 4-2-1. Thats a fail.

Your bro/stoner advice is not helping anyone . Keep your pie hole shut until you have grasped the basic complexities of soil chemistry. How would you know what mineral to be concerned with, when, "every bag is different". Try and think about it. Its a crap shoot! You're a fool giving a recommendation.

Epson salts is an easy Magnesium. And inexpensive. Ether dilute in warm water and water the plant or mix dry into the soil before potting.

Egg shells are great for Calcium. And free. Crush and add to soil or crush and soak in water and water in.

Wood ash/coals great for Potassium (and 10 or so other elements- worth a quick google it is). And free. Sprinkle on top (best done a couple of weeks before flowering IMO) or mix into soil before potting.

Please note what i have done above in my previous post with "lots of" is not recommended. Little of each is best. I have a new "fun" project going and im "playin around" a tad- best way to learn.

You can, wood ash though I'd be careful with, it's very acidic Typically. I use biochar which is just charcoal. Charge it first with a nute tea and put it in your mix
Its not.

Wood ash is very base. Ash content of biochar is measured in biochar grading. Biochar is sold in a wide range of ash content. Very ofter the highest ash content bio char is very high pH ~10
