Thats why i love this forum..lots of ideas and people searching for diff ways to accomplish what in essence is an easy thing to do. Grow a plant.
Right people complicate growing cannabis when it's extremely simple in aspects of farming a plant. I've grown lots of different plants and honestly cannabis is the easiest and most hardy. Of course you can get sensitive strains but the way I grow everything gets the same thing they all like it. Easiest, most straight forward and cheapest setup I've ever run. When I used to run dwc shit was complicated lol I gave it up because growing isn't supposed to be complicated you shouldn't have to pull your hair out to grow good meds. I feed every third day and only actually do anything to the plants for like 3 actual days of the 63 (run everything 9 weeks)maybe even 2 and the plants love it. Everyone's got their thing and with this plant in particular new shit comes out like every week either for growing or smoking or whatever. These techniques will be obsolete in 10 years when we really know more about these plantsThats why i love this forum..lots of ideas and people searching for diff ways to accomplish what in essence is an easy thing to do. All good mate..lots of us got heated. I also apologize. On that note i apologizefor earlier I lost my cool shouldn't have happened
I GUESS WE ALL DO THAT, ITS CALLED LOLLIPOP, TRIMMING AND PRUNING WE ALL KNOW THAT, SO WE WHERE FIGHTING ALL THIS TIME FOR NOTHING, HE DONT DEFOLIATE, (WHICH IM AGAINST) HE LOLLIPOPS FOR THE RECORD, COMPLETELY A DIFFERENT DEFINITION.Stripping the lowers encourages better growth and structure at the ends. This is not in question. As for whether it adds weight, I'll say that the weight that does grow is highly desirable and easy to trim, vs larfy bullshit.
His timing works well for his setup, I've seen it. He's the one who got me to try Tupur, which is working very well for me.
@Afgan King just has a nose for this, and like any professional continues to diligently practice his craft. Small wonder he's getting strong and consistent results, even while battling summer heat in an attic with weak ass vent fans, lol
With such a long thread I'm not sure if it had been mentioned but yeah... whooo lollipoping for those it works for... I mean it works, but it's not good for my set up (high humidity, more chance of bud rot which is more likely with bigger nugs)I GUESS WE ALL DO THAT, ITS CALLED LOLLIPOP WE ALL KNOW THAT, SO WE WHERE FIGHTING ALL THIS TIME FOR NOTHING, HE DONT DEFOLIATE, (WHICH IM AGAINST) HE LOLLIPOPS FOR THE RECORD, COMPLETELY A DIFFERENT DEFINITION.
FINNALY. YO WHERE THE HELL WHERE U 17 PAGES AGO. WE COULD AVOID ALL THIS NONSENSE IF U WHERE HERE. ANYWAYS I WASN'T NOT EVEN ARGUING HARD I WAS MORE JOKING AROUND MORE ANYTHING, I SED EARLY THAT HE WASN'T DEFOLIATING. BUT NOT AS EFFECTIVELY AS YOUR POST, I GUESS IS MA POOR ENGLISH, FUCKING BEANERS. LMFAOYa know, it could be that a simple, good old fashioned definition of terms might help us all out?
I'll start; as I understand it, defoliation is the stripping of all or nearly all of the leaves from the plant.
Trimming and pruning is a much more restrained removal of material, leaving much more than what's removed.
By the above definitions, @Afgan King is trimming and pruning, even lollipopping- but not defoliating the entire plant. And whatever else might be said, he makes good weed. In person he's a quiet, humble and very knowledgeable guy with a restless curiosity that meshes well with mine.
Just giving y'all some insight into the facts on the ground.
I think semantics is a real communications problem and cause for a lot of "arguments"... people actually agree, but since they define terms differently, they think they disagree...FINNALY. just please stop the word DEFOLIATION. LOL. better use: Lollipoped ,trimmed, and pruned. lol. We clarify that already., we dont want to start shit again if someone new join the thread. LolLollipopped and some defoliationView attachment 3748116
yeah that wasnt not even in question., the debate was about defoliation. No one has said he carnt grow plants. he seems to say that about everyone else though..lol.
Thats not the topic.
SUPER MEGA AGREEOk,,im out to try to get some fencing into this years Plot.
Afghan..before debating a point please understand what your defending. Would of saved us 17 pages and a guy with a defoliated plant. (poor bugger).
O..and Dumme did post some plants a few pages back..u missed it and kept asking and saying he didnt grow..lol Gues what? they were lolipoped..But not DEFOLIATED..lol
here's a good example... "trimming" always makes me think of trimming dry bud... I guess I could see it referring to clipping the edges/tips of live leaves on the plant, which should have it's own term... but otherwise you are either pruning (removing branches/stems) or defoliating (removing only leaves).just please stop the word DEFOLIATION. LOL. better use: Lollipopped ,trimmed, and pruned. lol. We clarify that already., we dont want to start shit again if someone new join the thread. Lol
why u dont get a small cheap dehumidifier? With such a long thread I'm not sure if it had been mentioned but yeah... whooo lollipoping for those it works for... I mean it works, but it's not good for my set up (high humidity, more chance of bud rot which is more likely with bigger nugs)
I'm considering it... but that adds cost and effort (running cost and having to take out the water) I know it's not much, but every little bit counts to me) and takes up space... My box is 3x4x4 (that's in ft). I suppose reusing the water to water would then cut down on my water expense... but then again I hope to switch to catching water soon, so that's not really a plus.why u dont get a small cheap dehumidifier?
just call it lollipop , so new growers won't get the wrong idea i mean thats actually lollipoping to me. toke on =====~~Defoliate- to remove leaves by force or by chemical, I never said I strip them raw y'all just wanted to keep attacking me even tho I said it's lights out and cant show you want I mean but again only me I'm just the asshole and your gonna tell me this isnt defoliation? When you compare the two seriously?View attachment 3748128
3 times total. Junk science, they call what their doing "Schwazzing". The removal of 99% of the leaves. It's all fluff. Don't get cough up in their cinematography and catchy beats. All good mate..lots of us got heated. I also apologize.
.As someone just said on another thread..we need a new term as Defoliation is now a thing. And its not what we mean when we are trimming and pruning.
Watch the whole video. They defoliate the plant (twice??).
I have absolutely zero, nothing to do with the 3 a light book and would not ever endorse it !Lmao what's a scam they use a completely different schedule for defoliation I've given away the way I do it to numerous people Idc about money I'm good that book is a reference my whole point is they are trying to make a living off that book so you think it would make sense to make up shit? How does that sell? Only reason I know the book is from RM3 doing it on his following the books instructions
What scam I'll tell u what I do and when I do whenever it's in my grow journal who gives a fuck about the book just used it as a reference since this man wants extensive testing be shown to him when he's done none of his own.
