LMFAOlol, oops, haha.
This thread is a laugh riot, on all sides.
I just said that u had bought it and were running it in a thread correct me if I'm wrongI have absolutely zero, nothing to do with the 3 a light book and would not ever endorse it !
I did post pics of a side by side in a thread about 3 a light, that is true. But I would never buy the book, can think of a whole bunch of things I'd rather do with $500I just said that u had bought it and were running it in a thread correct me if I'm wrong
Oh I agree I said it was garbage as well and never heard anyone endorse it. I guess the term I do is selective defoliation would that be more correct cause I don't remove everything just enough just trying to make sure we don't have another argument in a thread over miscommunication. @RM3I did post pics of a side by side in a thread about 3 a light, that is true. Prunning might be the right termPlus I wanna use the right term I guess I've always called it lollipopping and defanning seeing as I only take the large water leaves
I'd call all of it prunning, lollypoppin is a MJ forum termSo you'd call this lollipop and pruning? Just trying to be correct in terminologyView attachment 3748477
Ok and ya I guess it specifically is only really an industry term and technically all it is is selective pruning. Makes senseI'd call all of it prunning, lollypoppin is a MJ forum term
No beans here; we're all white (not that it should matter in the slightest) and I grew up while both of my folks majored, mastered and taught English at the university level. I'm well aware of the pitfalls and the limits of language and the potential for misunderstanding.FINNALY. YO WHERE THE HELL WHERE U 17 PAGES AGO. WE COULD AVOID ALL THIS NONSENSE IF U WHERE HERE. ANYWAYS I WASN'T NOT EVEN ARGUING HARD I WAS MORE JOKING AROUND MORE ANYTHING, I SED EARLY THAT HE WASN'T DEFOLIATING. BUT NOT AS EFFECTIVELY AS YOUR POST, I GUESS IS MA POOR ENGLISH, FUCKING BEANERS. LMFAO
@Pinworm made a very comprehensive video of defoliation, also an excellent example vid of flushing. No beans here; we're all white (not that it should matter in the slightest) and I grew up while both of my folks majored, mastered and taught English at the university level. I'm well aware of the pitfalls and the limits of language and the potential for misunderstanding.
This is why is very important to agree to the definitions of terms; a rose by any other name still smells as sweet- but if you call it a pig flower no one will know wtf you're talking about- in which case, communication does NOT happen.
Did exactly what that video does lol so is it defoliation or not?
I'd call all of it prunning, lollypoppin is a MJ forum term
And this is exactly why industry and professional terminology exists; so those in it can agree upon definitions to commonly used concepts.Ok and ya I guess it specifically is only really an industry term and technically all it is is selective pruning. Makes sense
But now after pinworms video I'm back to confused. I do exactly what he calls his defoliation and everyone agrees that's what he does but not what I do. My plants are just as bare lol only did the half the room but look before and after. Am I missing something here I don't see difference between pinworms video and what I doAnd this is exactly why industry and professional terminology exists; so those in it can have agreed upping definitions to commonly used concepts.
The MMJ industry has its own jargon, well on the way to doing the same thing. The problem is that the drivers of MMJ industry terms are alerts and distributors of artificially expensive products, incentivizing them to diversely create confusing terms and bullshit to hide what they're doing. It works well enough to drive serious agriculturalists away, which also works to their advantage.
i was calling myself a beaner. Im puertorrican. I call that lolipopping and yes it is a form of defoliation. But mainly i think when cannabis growers say defoliate they mean the removal of the older developed fan leaves.Did exactly what that video does lol so is it defoliation or not?
