We started drinking at about 7am, before 1st period. I stayed back as it was my birthday, while my friends went to 1st period to gather people....[/QUOTE.

I have 3 purple hearts, definitely did my time on the front lines. I was nothing special growing up. Disbanded by both parents at a young age, treated like shit most my life as a young age. I guess i wanted to prove everybody wrong. Now i have more medals and awards as a young man that the majority of US citizens won't ever get to. I came home from combat and got rejected by everyone including my family. the military does change you especially in combat operations. Take care of your own when they come home. That will be the difference from a war crazed vet to someone who just went overseas. Combat is a serious thing.

Here are some morning glorys that popped up and started taking over. Ive harvested some seeds and plan to get more for next year. I want to try growing them up the pillars in front of the house and up the sunflowers maybe as well.

Man, those have grown. I've been thinking about putting in a row on the north side of the garden, to block the view of the road.

I had a few of those morning glory vines last year.. I put them down at the family graveyard, and forgot about them. Most of them cashed. Purple is my wife's favorite color, so I took some grief about killing them.

Ive got some morning glory that are just starting to bloom. Something really got to them this year (bugs). I will snap some pics when they seem the fullest.
To be honest, purple is my fav color also.
Lil man picked through some spilt bird food and planted the seeds. This is what happened.

And most vets will only talk about it with other vets. My Daddy was shot a couple of times and finished WW2 in a German POW camp. He only started talking about what he had seen a few months before he died.

I was lucky in that I served between wars. The only real GQ I was in was rounding the Straits of Hormuz during the Iran Iraq War.

If more of the ones deciding to go to war had kids in service, we wouldn't be as quick to jump in.

26 Weeks: 6.5' Circumference and approx 120lbs

Here's a site I used when growing mine that will calculate the weight for you. Pretty handy. They also have apps for it.

Mmmmm Venison

A damn groundhog chewed on mine last year after I'd got rid of all but that one pumpkin. I was able to pollinate another fruit, but it was by then a late start and farther down the vine than I wanted.

After that I made a cage for it with a cut-out for the stem. Once the fruit gets bigger, the animals don't tend to go for them.

Go big or go home. No reward without taking the risk.
