Not 100% but I don't think Jerrys prices are supposed to be public. I know he was having issues with the big companies because his prices piss them off.

wow, what a bunch of whiners and complainers around here.. I had gotten a quote from kingbrite awhile back, I must be in their email list so received this email, I posted this showing there is a new cob coming out and the price of the 3590's will be dropping, probably everywhere rather soon I would imagine.

Either you understand why we dont want you posting that info or you are a company troll..... Cant figure out which yet. If you do not understand then Ill explain it.

Jerry has been in trouble with Cree for selling stuff lower than he is supposed to. Other sellers have been upset with him in the past for undercutting and reported him to Cree. He tries to keep his pricing a bit more "private" than others for this reason. So either you do not have respect for him and his pricing, you are a troll, or you truly did not know/understand the situation.

Im still going with company shill.

I found jerry's info from growmau5 youtube channel, emailed him for a quote a number of months ago.. that is all. The point of this thread was so people knew a new cob was being released and 3590's will be cheaper soon. that is all, if you want to think conspiracy, or troll, or ulterior motive.. so be it. If he is in "trouble" with Cree, that has nothing to do with me, jerry apparently mass mailed everyone in his contacts about this.. so its not a secret. Even if it were a secret, you are welcome for the information. And who is "we" don't want you posting that info btw? I am in a forum about led lighting.. here is some info on a popular led. I think you are the troll doz.

Thanks for sharing @linky. I'm not sure why anybody is defending shady behind-Cree's-back practices while people who play by the rules get fucked. Cheap cobs aren't worth pissing off the people who actually make them.

Although I doubt any of this conspiracy crap is true, it just makes people feel like they are getting a deal. Robin is openly selling Crees for $36 each, same as Jerry, ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB!! *faint* So, um, yeah.

Well well, look how the Pairui 250 driver costs less than the MW 120, the lowest wattage. And yet Cutter was putting Pairuis in their Gmau5 kits and charging the same as MW of similar wattage. As I had guessed, they were apparently unloading cheap Chinese drivers.

Great, glad to see Robin doing that. For some of us, we like to go through Jerry. He was one of the earlier suppliers who jumped to make sure we had stock and took care of us long before the huge rush of growers looking to make money from fellow growers. I understand its business and competition is great, but I choose to use someone who has taken care of me in the past. Jerry helped many of us get Cree's at good pricing when most everyone else had little stock or were gouging on pricing.

But hey, Robin has them now so go with him. Ill use Jerry when I need stuff. Maybe Jerry got his pricing inline and got on a more official level with Cree. I have not talked to him in a couple months so not sure...

Y'all keep putting stock in these grow lights and just forum guys like they are some magical grow light fairy's. All they did was see the need for a COB light on the market and made one and marked it way the fuck up. Half of the guys "building" lights on these forums and selling them are half ass retarded and I definitely would not want their product (not specifying, or implying AT ALL that its Robin). The only thing they have going for them is SOME of them are using quality name brand products that last. Then you have some who in the past bashed the cheaper LED diodes and drivers only to use some other cheap shit and pass it off as quality...............

Robin makes nice stuff. Very nice. He is also a big fan of Jerry. My only point is that if your business model relies on secrecy because it's shady as shit, you can't blame honest people when they share an email trying to be helpful, let alone scream at them like they did something wrong or broke an unwritten rule of Jerry club. Chill.

So Robin is selling below Cree's pricing but he is not shady because he has a website. Got it :) Thanks for the info.

Nobody is selling Cree cxb below crees pricing. If they were it would be there business if they wanted to sell with no profit or at a loss. If Cree didn't like it they would stop the supply. Cree don't care, Jerry is a reseller, he buys at x and sells at y, that's how these things work. Competition brings prices down, less margin. Jerry, Robin, Cutter and everyone else know that they have to keep the margins down to stay competitive or lose business to their opposition. Jerry will be very happy his prices are more public. What reseller wouldn't? Alibaba is no secret club.

@JorgeGonzales I'm glad its Whore hey its a far more interesting name than George. Been an English man I know a dozen Georges but I have never met a Jorge
