Nice thanks!$99 on ebay. Temp right now about 80. Gets up around 85 during the day.
Its the exact same thing It sounds like. This is what they have at costco and what I bought. I took the plastic covers off for the bulb to breath and someone said it helped not block in the lumens (dont know if this is true cause I dont have a light meter but did it anyway)Thanks for the info... Are they really as powerful as these are for just $9? I do live about 20 minutes from a Costco haha. As for the wiring, no I haven't figured it out yet. But I will try connecting the two lights together and then adding just one plug to it. That seems like the simplest way to do it.
Cfl's are hot!Wow I thought it would just be the bulb for $9, but the whole thing huh? Do they have a plug or you have to wire it like the ones I bought? I left the covers on mine in hopes to keep in some of the heat. I have them in a tent and the temps up around 88 right now.
You have to wire it in. After looking at the pics that you took it looks EXACTLY like the same thing. The difference it sounds like is that mine were made with a photo switch ...... meaning that they would automatically turn on when it got dark ( hence security light ) but I just cut that part out to be normal.Wow I thought it would just be the bulb for $9, but the whole thing huh? ....... I will give you $10 and some bandaids if you grab my cfl! That shits hot! I think it depends on what type of cfl's and how powerful they are.Normal CFL's aren't hot at all. You can grab the whole bulb and it's not hot!
Haha, well the ones that I have are 26w daylight bulbs. I have four of them and they don't get hot at all........ I will give you $10 and some bandaids if you grab my cfl! That shits hot! I think it depends on what type of cfl's and how powerful they are.
i found 85w and 100w cfls ate home depo what would be the difference ???
I don't think those bulbs have a ballast in them. Read the box carefully. I believe they need to be installed in a fixture that has it's own ballast. In my experience, if it has a mogul base chances are good it is not a self-ballasted lamp.i found 85w and 100w cfls ate home depo what would be the difference ???
