Chances or I will harvest tonite when I get home from work, the stress is making Me smoke more
Either way she is 2 days from 14 weeks from time she went into 12/12
50/50 on trichomes
And 60/40 on pistils and curling inward.
Very little amber less than 20%

Fuck it ,,tonight she's mine
Mmmuuu aaauhhh hahaha

If I start count from the time I noticed flower devolvement then I'm at 80 days 11 weeks.

I know patients, anyone else here have gone the long haul?

no bugs ? so what happened to all the leaves ? they look like the plants got fried or attacked by sap suckers ?

Harvest them and get cutting all that crappy leaf off, waiting for amber is for people that remove leaves before or as they die and plan their feeding so the plant can live longer there dying pretty hard soon you`ll be losing smell and taste to get more "amber"

You have to balance between smell/taste and high

if you want to run your plants longer you need to feed extra cal/mag, some extra N for a week or 2 and then some extra K potassium sulphate is pretty good for that

if mine start looking like that its sugar rush and cut, and then I`d smoke bomb or spray the rest of my plants.

Will defiantly harvest tonight
I made many mistakes but also learned a lot as well.
-Didn't feed more offen
-Temps and humidity a little off
-could have fed extra Nutrients that the plant need as you stated above
And vegged to long.
And poor lollipop job.
Will do better next round

you got some bud your going to do it again and you want it to get better every time, best attitude to have bud

I`ve walked into worse looking plants and had someone saying "yummy 2 more weeks" and I was like "fix the broken extraor, throw all them plants in the bin, move all of the veg into here and pop some fresh seeds"

there were not too happy, but thankfully a lot of crappy bud can still make some very yummy bho, lol

but yeah looks like you got 6 weeks or so into flower with no issues so next batch will be better I`m sure :)

Also miscalculated and started flush to early( been flushing now for 3 weeks)
The plant is very sticky with lots of trichomes and smells lemonny with a hint diesel.

I have a rotation going in my grow room
Have smaller plants in there that I put into flower at 1 ft in height and are buding and looking pretty nice so far.

While potency may appear highest at clear. The chemical makeup of the trich is not concentrated with compounds that get you high! Those numbers come later as the trichome matures. (And I still get higher #'s just as the first trichs amber)
Yes, discoloring to amber is a decomposing of sorts. The idea that it no longer has influence on the high, or the type of high is wrong!
It does create a more sedative effect! You get higher levels of CBD for one- that's more medical compounds!
Like you've been hearing all along. Harvest at cloudy to 10-30% amber.

Don't believe me? Top a plant so you have 3 mains.
Harvest 1/3rd at the point of what Gquebed suggested - swollen buds with clear trichs.
Harvest 1/3rd at all trichs cloudy.
Harvest the last of the plant at 20% amber.

Now come back here and tell me which one YOU think has the strongest effect!

In all the years of growing I have under my belt....THE strongest buds tested are always run longer then 90% of the people growing around me! While trichomes are the key! Time running is the lock! Odds are, you will ALWAYS run longer then ANY breeders report by 1-3 weeks (differing phenos and environment).

I guar-en-fucking-tee that every strain ever run in any cup style competition. The test results are done post harvest and they were harvested around 20% amber! NO strains go to cups with clear trich harvesting! WEAK and Headache prone garbage!

Or test the trichs only after seperating them y colour. Tedious chore but it can be done if you have the equip, as most any lab would.

Bet you haven't read to Riddles postings yet....

I personally delivered samples for years. We talked about all sorts of things there. Peep this. These guys can almost tell you what nutrient you used to grow with - if you didn't cure well.....Back to the point. You didn't get the "contents" of the trich through your head did you?

Bottom line is - you're harvesting too early!

So anyway -What great college of Cannabis did this tester go to? I would REALLY have to see these guys sort out differing "colors" to test! My tester always wanted uniformity in samples!

Everything you say here goes against everything that has been researched and understood by growers for YEARS!

Not at all. In fact, i have rarely seen amber trichs in any of my grows. Amber trichs should be far and few between if your plants are healthy, unless you are supplementing with UV light. That is, after all, primarly what the resin is for...to protect against UV.

Note: the amber have seen in other grows have also shown browned roots.
