3 weeks from seed before flip, sharing one light with another 4.5 foot plant (5g bucket included, 3 feet on its own from soil). So about double this amount. Fuck off.

Gee, with all that blue spectrum, I wonder why Mars can't do better. See that mass and frost? That's what a quality economy line LED does.
Your whole plant looks like 1 side branch off mine(lower side branch not even a top). MARS lights are worse than low quality HPS lights like SE 400 watt hps will out grow that and yield way more bigger bulkier buds, yeah Chinese panels grow weed but not well and put off as much heat as an hps does so why waste money on an inferior product?

You my friend need to listen to @Tim Fox.

An HPS will output a fuckton more light per dollar than these ghetto LEDs. And do it more efficiently.
The plant can't use all wavelengths of that light. It can only use PAR-spectrum light. This is where your thinking is highly flawed. LEDs are completely arranged within the PAR spectrum. Anyone here will tell you the same.

For me hps. Would be to hot with what I have now and I've dry ran to prove this can be easily controlled at 76-80f 59-60rh. A hps will have to wait until I have a tent

3 weeks, seedling included. That is why it looks as small as it does. Meaning that's pretty big.

Don't use an HPS in a tent, it won't have the headroom to circulate the stagnant, hot, humid air and it's potentially an issue for your plant.

Air cooled reflector? Air conditioning? I run 3x 600w hps in a tent my temps never go over 77F
That's extra space taken up, extra hassle, and extra energy. Also, it's your buddy WhoreHey there that's supporting MarsHydro, not me. Apparently he likes watching Chinese people party with his money.

I'm using the Mars Hydro 300. Works perfectly fine for now. But it's my first grow so I guess my opinion is kind of worthless on the matter ^^

Do you know what PPFD stands for? That first P means only 400-700nm is being compared. I have a pretty good grasp on this stuff. Not perfect, but enough to hang in this conversation.

No, the wattage listed is what's powering your spectrum. You aren't getting 400w of pure PAR from any HID. They waste a lot of light, heat, and energy.

At 51 inches a 1000w hps has higher PAR than that crappy mars light. Here's a real chart not some crap one from mars website.
